The practice I got to watch I walked away prolly the most pleasantly surprised with Tae. Was happy with how willing of a tackler he was

The new one in Waynedale, also in a gas station lolHey...don't knock it till you try it!
The New Haven location just happens to be connected to a gas station, it's not IN the gas station per-say. They're separate buildings, most unassuming authentic Italian you've ever had!
Auburn? Gas station. The new one in Wayndale, also in a gas station lol
There's a new one built near the airport in Waynedale. I believe it just opened last year. In a Shell I believe.Auburn? Gas station.
I think the only ones that aren’t in gas station are on Illinois Road, Washington Center, and Warsaw. 2/3 of those are in old Richard’s locations lol. There's a new one built near the airport in Waynedale. I believe it just opened last year. In a Shell I believe.
Also Leo Crossing on Dupont Rd.I think the only ones that aren’t in gas station are on Illinois Road, Washington Center, and Warsaw. 2/3 of those are in old Richard’s locations lol.
Easy player to root for. Got offered. Didnt make it academically. They told him to work. He workedCoach Freeman on Johnson from the Opening Fall Practice 2025:
"Yeah, Tae Tae, he's one of those guys you just love to coach. He enjoys it. He's grateful for the opportunity. He's an extremely athletic player. If you listen to Tae Tae, he'll be the best wide out and the best DB. And he was pretty good in high school with both too. He's learning the skill set that is just not natural, right? There's natural skill set that he has, but there's also a skill set, the consistency, the trust, those type of things that it takes to be an every down player. What you saw today was a reflection of how he's prepared. From the spring, you go back again and you do it in the summer and you're doing it again in fall camp. So he's learning what's expected and it's helping him play fast so he can use that athleticism that he has."
Rooting for this guy as always. If he turns out like many believe he will (both the II and ISD pods were raving about Tae Tae before today's practice), this thread will be one for the ages.
I root for all our players but I’m really rooting for Tae to be successful. He was behind academically in high school and told that he needed to retake certain classes to qualify for ND. He could’ve taken the easy route and gone almost anywhere else to play, but he took the necessary steps to get into ND. I hope he becomes a star.
Just want to agree with posters above without typing the same thing.Tae is one of the easiest kids to root for in this class. He had work to do to get into ND and he accepted the challenge, did it and signed after getting the greenlight. I hope that is a sign of his work ethic on and off the field at ND. Super high ceiling for him, even if takes a year to put on the 'coat of armor'.
Taking the easy way out, huh? Unlike Tae Tae Johnson who needed to grind extra in HS to get his offer and then twice as hard to transform his body and mind after being forced to play QB as a senior!Just want to agree with posters above without typing the same thing.
So shall it be written, so shall it be doneI declare from this moment forward, IE shall refer to him as Tae Tae. I need a second.
My dude!!! So it shall be☘️So shall it be written, so shall it be done
Beautiful post bro. But it’s Tae TaeTae is the best. If you ever get the chance to meet him, he’s as humble as they come, engaging, articulate, and completely aware of the opportunity he’s got at ND. Could’ve ended up at State U, JUCO, or worse…and he took the path less traveled. Easy to root for all of our guys—but even easier to root for Tae.
I mean, Tennessee wanted him bad at WR...I think he has options other than state u or jucoTae is the best. Just don’t call him Brauntae 😉Beautiful post bro. But it’s Tae Tae
Yeah I wasn’t trying to be too hyperbolic, but there’s a lot of kids who don’t make it out of Northside.I mean, Tennessee wanted him bad at WR...I think he has options other than state u or juco
But I get your drift lol
Just don’t call him Brauntae 😉
If he is fast call him Swift?I declare from this moment forward, IE shall refer to him as Tae Tae. I need a second.
It’s already been sworn in… 😆If he is fast call him Swift?
I don’t like any of these option.
