I feel like one of Hobbs or Moore are going to surprise this fall. Both rangy athletes with a lot for Mickens to work with, similar to Cam Hart. They wouldnt have taken both so early and shut down CB recruiting (outside of Beasley) if they didnt feel good about them.

Those guys were "marginal" recruits, they need to land and keep the ELITE guys in the fold especially at WR and DB.

It is pretty crazy that we had committed in our 2023 class 5 elite runners and Love is the only one left.

The staff is aggressive in recruiting and the transfer portal. This is just the beginning.

Seems like every spring we have a Junior Jabbie that people get overhyped for and that player disappears in the fall. The spring game has never been a consistent barometer of a player's skill. You've got starters mixed in on both teams, piecemeal OLs, injured guys, etc. In 2015 Kizer was 3rd on the depth chart in the spring and he stunk up the spring game. He was considering quitting football all together. Golson transferred, Zaire went down, and the offense was adjusted to better suit Kizer. Will Fuller became a household name, and Kizer went on to have a great 2015.

Meh - the roster has improved and team speed has improved every season that Marcus has been here.

How original! He played well, but was also a DB who was inserted at RB so yea he surprised our D but he gained 87yds and most of that was on one run, that narrative is pretty tired at this point because thr other 12 carries he didn't do much.
