Singer says it’s an OV.Loy posted that the staff doesn't have a problem with these unofficial visits but wants to be the only Official Visit. That's notable change/update and we'll see how it plays out.
Just to separate one versus the other. Singer said the first sentence but not the second in case interpreted otherwise.Singer saying that Rhett has high interest in Georgia. Potential flip.
This will be interesting to hear. I assume the “only OV is ND” thing was meant to draw some sort of line in the sand. Loy said it’s a unofficial this AM so it’d be interested if he clarifies tonight.Singer says it’s an OV.
After coaching a full season would be a good place to start lmaoAlso, I know it’s against the law to question Freeman, but when are we allowed to raise legitimate concerns because I have some?
I’m not sold on him like everyone else I guess?
Really? After coaching a full season would be a good place to start lmao
So it’s cynical to point out an obvious concern that every analyst that covers ND had?Yes, it’s perfectly normal to have concerns. That’s what most fans with balanced perspectives express proportionally. However, cynicism is often the default if you’ve been a fan of Notre Dame since they won their last title. And cynicism has been dragged out for a long ass time. Yes, he didn’t win the bowl game and he will have to improve on those adjustments. But he did a respectable job for a first-time head coach in a game that presented challenges. So, it’s comes off as less concern, and more cynical to drag out one performance given the circumstances.
ND played that bowl game without it's best player on offense and it's best player on defense. Prospects taking visits has always happened with ND recruits, and will only continue to happen, so I'd say it's probably a good idea to get used to it. Also, if they sign with ND on NSD, who cares whether they visit elsewhere or not?Really?
So can’t have concerns before that?
So people couldn’t have concerns about Mike Price, who got fired at Bama before ever coaching a game, until after he coached a full season? LOL
As far as Freeman, can’t be concerned about a really, really bad job of adjusting in the Bowl Game with a 21 point lead and the more talented team?
Or that half the committed class has already or is visiting elsewhere after committing? Freeman was supposed to be the dude who flipped commits, not get his flipped.
That’s one-third, yes, but not half. It’s also the way the game gets played when you’re fishing in these waters (top 100 recruits),
I think there are 2 ways this question could be asked. Has it been normal? or Will it be normal this year and in the short term future? Is it though?
Like honestly I don't follow other schools recruiting enough to know if 1/3 of their current committed classes are taking visits.
Is this happening at Bama, OSU, UGA?
Or they are just two different questions. I'd like the answer to both.I think there are 2 ways this question could be asked. Has it been normal? or Will it be normal this year and in the short term future?
We don't know the answer to the second because we haven't lived in the NIL world for a full cycle. We'll see how that changes things.
Put me in the was wrong and now most skeptical of Rhett bucket. Possibly cancelling the Spring Game visit is concerning. At least Keeley and Bowen (at the moment) haven’t indicated cancelling visits to Notre Dame ever
We all need to keep this in mind as we pee our pants. If you are going to have a series built around your recruitment, it probably helps to generate recruiting content.
Singer said the staff has assumed him uncommitted for a few weeksWell the no commits take OV things I guess is kinda true still haha. Wonder when he actually told the staff
As soon as he went radio silence on all socials it was telling
