New Balance has been popular in the leisure/fashion space for probably 15 years.

I don’t think they are much more popular in athletic space. Maybe baseball? I just know they have Ohtani. But I don’t think they’ve made any tangible headway in football or basketball.

I started rocking a mustache, New Balance, and Champion (mostly crew necks) like 6-7 years ago. The youth watched me and learned.

Side bar... can we get him a new song in the stadium? Xavier Watts had the best one ever, but Love's doesn't match the vibe. My opinion only.

Wouldn't play well in a stadium but NBC playing Phil Collins' "You can't hurry Love" while showing a replay of Love's hurdle before commercial during the Army game was one of those moments where I realized this guy is about to blow up on a national stage. ND fans all loved Kyren and Estime but this felt different.

They’ve got a decent bball roster these days, including last years # 1 pick.

Also one of the biggest names in track.

New Balances were getting popular as an in the know sneaker thing back about 15 years ago but they've really blown up. Champion made sense because it was retro as it came back in, but NB one by making quality shoes in the end. They also got back into sports at the right time and really capitalized.

I thought going to commercial break following. J. Love touchdowns with various well known “Love” songs was a genius way to build recognition and start the hype for a Heisman campaign. If fans and media connect him with “all you need” or “the power of Love”, then he will conquer all in a gold helmet.

I watched the Singer and Hyde podcast this afternoon and they showed footage of Love doing the side-stepping drill and they were gushing...but I can't believe that is not slightly speed up. If not, then LOL & FFS.
I wished they showed some of the others, maybe Price, for perspective.
