Winning on the field=winning in recruiting. I agree with you.So you don’t think us winning that game could impact Keeley having second thoughts? Or push ‘24’s our way? I disagree. Maybe it doesn’t matter for Love, but it matters a lot for recruiting. It’s a huge game and winning it could have impacts that would last for years. Not only would it establish that Marcus Freeman is an elite coach, it would tell the entire Midwest the Notre Dame is it.
One game? No it doesn’t. The results over a whole season and seasons? Absolutely, you can tell how they’re trending. If there is a kid out there who makes their decision based solely on the result of one game, I’d bet money they are not going to have success at ND
Did you see the video or just the headline he wrote? It's for sure a teaser post indicating he's close to committing to NDI have read that and understand that. But his tweet to me didn’t sound the most positive.
Assuming we get Limar, Edwards, and Love what is each position going to be? Limar seems like the only true RB from different articles.
Limar is the most pure RB of the 3. Love at ~190lbs and still adding muscle is the one who's built best to handle being an every down RB but he's been used as a swiff army knife, taking on pass catching and even even DB roles. I see Love as the most talented of the 3, however, Edwards is severely underrated imo. I mean he had something like 40TDs and well over +3,000 all purpose yards, averaging 12.5yrds per carry at the 6A level in Kansas. He'll be a returner, they'll put him in the slot and have him line up in the backfield. Love will be the lead RB imo even though he's listed as an athlete. He's just built like, has the speed and running style of an elite RB. Limar will split carries with Love to ensure he doesn't carry too much of a load.Assuming we get Limar, Edwards, and Love what is each position going to be? As a 49ers fan….. YES PLEASSELimar is a traditional RB
Edwards will likely move to slot receiver, and occasionally line up at RB and take jet sweeps
Love will likely be an APB like Deebo Samuel. Primarily RB, but can flex out to slot.
Not safe. At least 2 weeks before we’ll know better (coming with mom for Marshall; her 1st visit.)As a 49ers fan….. YES PLEASSE
Am I safe to watch his highlights ?? I typically hold off until we are pretty damn sure he’s going to be Irish.
I know who I’m taking with me to the Irsay Y…BJJ, Muay Thai, Boxing, Wrestling, MMA.
Is it a shot if you don’t take it?They really are not shying away from pressuring or shooting and missing on social media. With the subliminal Carr stuff and now this. I can’t blame them and I’m glad they are not holding back. In terms of his response, I’m not so sure that was a positive. I’m guessing he’s waiting to see how we look against Ohio State, which to me doesn’t really tell the story of where the program is headed given the 2020 class and 2019 class were less than stellar or deep outside a few elite individuals. ND is, in terms of elite recruiting, still young.
As the old saying goes, you miss 100% of the shots you do not take.
A site is reporting that someone in the Love circle said Love was impressed how his ND post on twitter got 80,000 views opposed to his ATM one that only got 15,000.
This is how ND competes in the NIL era, no fanbase is larger and more spread out then Notre Dame.
There are many fanbases that are younger and more active on social media than ND.While it's the most widespread, it's been my seat of the pants, social media barometer that has led me to believe other programs are more engaged on Twitter.
I'd have a room staffed with 10 "fans" that control 500 "Superfan accounts"...
That or hire one Russian Botmaster who could direct 5000 of the same accounts.
It would legitimately seem as though in the world of a million staffers looking for an edge on the fringes of the game, social media engagement would be a quantifiable metric worth investing a (Russian) staffer or two into. While it's the most widespread, it's been my seat of the pants, social media barometer that has led me to believe other programs are more engaged on Twitter.

CJ Carr and a DE will be the final 2 pieces if Lyons and Love commit.T. Lyons and J Love would be two monster additions on offense and would help put a bow on the class (maybe 1-2 more pieces missing?)
Without question. Still holding out hope for a QB somehow but Love and Lyons would round the offense off nicely regardless.T. Lyons and J Love would be two monster additions on offense and would help put a bow on the class (maybe 1-2 more pieces missing?)
We'd need to hold onto Bowen too or get an elite safety to replace him.CJ Carr and a DE will be the final 2 pieces if Lyons and Love commit.
