So the wife and I are out and she says she's hungry. I turn onto a street with plenty of options. I say, "There's Skyline", to which she replies with the speed of light, "God no"! lol
What did she opt for? Cracker Barrell?

why tf are you guys talking about football in our food thread?

All jokes aside, I was saying the same thing on Saturday watching Oregon/PSU. Pretty surreal we can watch Dante Moore in prime time and not give a f*ck knowing CJ is our guy.

Where was he on Drew Allar?

We offered, but later than folks wanted and maintained that Angeli was always one of the top prospects.

People wanted Rees canned for it.

We offered Angeli in 08/2020, Ty Simpson in 01/2021 and Allar in 02/2021.

It was a rhetorical question, but thank you nonetheless.

Things tend to work out over the long term. Leonard came in and ND went to the title game. Carr and Minchey are here now. Angeli was pretty good and showed what he had at Syracuse.

And Gavin Wimsatt the same day as Angeli, correct?

Kiper on ESPN this morning talking about Dante Moore being the top quarterback or number one pick if he came out this year. I know I know it’s big mouth Kiper, but he’s definitely impressing many NFL Scouts.

He looks good, but I’d sit him a year for sure.
He never seems to stand in the pocket and needs to get that coached up.

The same Kiper that went scorched earth on people for Sanders? I do think Dante looks good but let’s put the breaks on for a minute and see how things shake out

Todd McShay feels the same too. Lannoris Sellers and Garrett Nussmeier haven't been consistent. Mateer getting hurt didn't help him. Klubnick took a big step back too. McShay also can't hold back his dislike of Allar too.

Tried my hand at recreating Cincinnati chili this weekend. It was pretty damn close - gonna have to add more nutmeg next time.

Had me a home-made three way while watching the Irish.
The fact that this post hasn't been followed up on is a testament to the maturity of this board.

I typed like three different posts but deleted them all because I couldn't figure out a way to capture my disdain for the nutmeg consideration. Imagine me posting I made Cassoulet over the weekend and saying "Not quite right, I think it needs more pop rocks"

Penn Station

Edit: Let it be known. I may be old but I refuse to get indoctrinated into the "Cracker Barrell Boomer" cult. I don't mind breakfast when we're traveling, but that's it for CB.

I was gonna ask about the "home-made three way" but I figured most dudes on this board didn't need any more "alone time" material.

Cassoulet? What is that? French? Sounds fruity.

I’ll stick with explosive diarrhea pasta, thanks.

Ruben Bain could have something to say about this when the time actually comes.

Suppose the Titans get the first pick again. They're going to draft Moore a year after drafting Ward?

It's all banter.

Justin Fields is going to produce the next three number 1 picks for the Jets: Bain, J Smith, and CJ.

Has Ward been the problem?
