Just wait until EJ Holland gets wind of this!
I kid you not, he (or Balas or Selfie, both of which are unprofessional fanboys), deleted the post & all replies to it.
There is no evidence of it remaining on the board.
They will say it is because of Webb, but that is just a coverup to protect their precious Harbaugh.

Just curious…..but wasn‘t there some info a while back about Dante participating in a 7 vs. 7 or other tournament in Texas relatively close to College Station sometime in June? Quickly went through the thread but couldn‘t find where I had seen that so I could be mistaken. Maybe the unofficial to A&M is around that same weekend? Hopefully one of you smart dudes will be enlightened on this tidbit 😊
His original 7v7 obligation was June 10th, thus why he wasn’t coming to ND that day.

I was thinking it was the 10th but I couldn’t remember for sure……but isn’t the obligation in Texas?

I know we all had our thoughts on BK's recruiting, but even he wouldn't stoop to this level where the in-state 5* QB that you have been recruiting for years is on official visit and you cannot even bother to be on campus. I get that Moore isn't likely to see anything on this visit that he hasn't already, but damn. This is a new low.
It was not an official visit, it was like his 20th unofficial, and Khaki Pants had an autism event already scheduled.

Khaki Pants would be a bigger piece of shit for dipping out on the event.

“It could go into the season,” replied Mr. Moore. “He could be committed somewhere and still take visits. That's not saying that (we're) disrespecting anybody. It's just that we want to see things.”

“Who knows when he's gonna commit, man? I'm excited just as much as everybody else (to find out).”

Says they’ll definitely visit Michigan again. SMFH at this recruitment.

I hope we get him in the end. I hope even more we win a natty while he is here. And i hope its Angeli who does it. Build a wall, make Michigan pay for it.

Most concerning/intriguing quote there is "he could be committed somewhere and still take visits".

FWIW, Dante told On3 he’d be back too but the added context was his teammates would be camping.

I said it when he didn’t commit publicly after his spring visit, this thing stinks to high heaven unless F.U.N.D. has already penned a NIL deal with Dante. It’s funny our biggest concern is NIL when I think it’s gotta be somehow one of the main reason’s ND is confident unless they really really trust Moore at his word for some reason.

Thing is, I see both as being plausible and I don't think one is necessarily more plausible than the other. It does concern me though that ND is at a point of no return on this and has been for the last month or so. If we say that ND is merely taking Moore for his word, without any NIL details, how are they supposed to all of sudden get engaged with other prospects? You tell Moore all that have, Moore takes visits and ND only now initiates contact with another player? On one hand, I don't see Freeman putting himself into that situation, considering how tuned into recruiting he is. But on the other hand, circumstances could have put ND in this situation even if they didn't want to. It's like they are playing NL Hold'em and the turn just came. ND bet big after the flop, but the turn gave some outs to others at the table. ND has no choice but to keep with the huge bets, they are pot committed. We'll see if the river is kind or not.

Yeahhhhh I’m just gonna have low expectations until ESP/NSD.

I’ve seen this movie before. I’m ready to have a QB coach that can successfully recruit his own position.

To be fair, I think this would be locked down if it wasn’t for NIL. I think Tommy and MFMF have worked tirelessly on this recruitment, but the enticement of a pay for play deal and/or maximizing his potential revenue has proven to be a larger adversary than any opposing staff.

As much as I think TR has struck out relative to QB recruitment the past few cycles, let’s be real: Nico didn’t choose TN because of their QB coach…money talks.

The longer this drags out the worse it is for our recruiting class. Like I said before if he wanted ND that bad he would be publicly committed already recruiting the WR's he wants in the class.

It’s not so much that.

It’s the fact that they quite literally stopped recruiting Chris Vizzina because of Moore. ALL of their eggs are in the Moore basket; if they don’t land him, this will be Will Shipley x100.

I have no idea where they would look if they strikeout, once again, on an elite QB.

On the Michigan On3 board a poster mentioned he was at the McCarthey’s event at Wrigley Field & was able to have a long conversation with Sam Webb.
Webb told him Moore wasn’t going to Michigan. Told him that Moore had no communication with Harbaugh as the main factor why.
So Hairball is trying the Brian Kelly recruiting plan.

At the end of the day aren't the Moore's doing what any of us would do in a similar situation? Just let it air out. If he wants to play for ND he'll play for ND. If not, it will be a little disappointing but our top 10 program will continue to roll along.

I think this question has been asked before, but what is the most number of pages on a thread for a player that did not end up signing with ND? I know Davonte Neal, Tee Shepherd and Lynch eventually left, but they did initially sign with ND

Isaiah McKenzie has to be up there.

But if you ever want ND to get over the hump, it will likely take a top QB to do it. ND has had some good QB's, but not a great one, the past decade or so.

FWIW, Vanderdoes (with the asterisk for your question) has 223. Plus a couple separate threads about him.
