I knew that arm motion looked familiar 🤣
This is Riley Leonard vs Northern Illinois level bad.
While true, Manning made Tyler Buchner look mechanically sound by comparison. He’s probably overrated but I don’t know how many QBs are going to roll into Columbus and look elite.
Have we seen any great QB play this weekend?
He missed that quick slant for the TD in the 4th and opted for the back corner flag route. He'll be just fine this season once he settles but not understanding why he was sidearming so many throws.
This post popped into my head during the game yesterday.Aged like a fine wine.
Agreed and combined with Sark's history of being an offensive genius left alot to be desired.Funny part is Manning had one of the best days in the country in terms of deep throws. The whole pitch with Manning is he was gonna unlock the offense and Sark was piss scared to actually let him until the game was basically lost. You’ve had the kid for 3 years, how do you not know how to get him comfortable early/play to his strengths?
This is also part of why the expanded playoff stinks because you get coaches playing not to lose this weekend instead of playing to win. Because who cares in the end if you lose to OSU?
Not too many, but on that play he certainly did (to my surprise) and he missed that darting WR on a slant. Seems like a case of predetermining where you go with the ball.Sure looked like a heck of a lot of clean pockets

Was discussing this on Monday at the Labor Day BBQ.Have we seen any great QB play this weekend?
In defense of less than stellar QB play, lots of new starting QBs. Lots of guys who should be in their second or third year starting at the same school were playing their first game with a new team. Was discussing this on Monday at the Labor Day BBQ.
It felt really bad overall.
Was probably drunk.I could be led to believe that the media made up that Arch Manning was good at football because it would be good for business. What I don't understand is why college coaches who make offers and who are generally pretty good at identifying talent would go along with it. Sark pretty clearly pushed Ewers out for Manning, and he saw both of them play in practice every day. I say this as a big "Arch isn't going to be a generational anything" guy.
