I mean, I’ve seen you guys complain enough about our slow developing run plays
Slow mesh RPO with 3 options > Designed run that takes forever

Is this slow mesh thing what we saw a few time from Stanford. The RB literally stood and waits?
The thing is, even with Freeman being a better recruiter, we still likely won't be a talent match for Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State. A system designed to beat a talent gap is basically exactly what we need to do to rely on something other than luck to beat them. Not a fan of the slow mesh. It’s great for bad talent but it’s not the best when talent is high. You turn up the pressure on it, and it can very easily break.
Anyone else see the Steve Slaton comparison to edwards?

Yes. They should just run more touchdown plays."Call plays that work."
ND getting serious about NIL!It was a piece of jewelry with his initials and the ND monogram with what looked like lots of gold and diamonds.
It limits the players ability to make plays because every action has to fit the scheme for it work well. It tends to slow everything down limiting explosive quick playsI am still trying to figure out what he meant by not the best when "talent is high".
Upgrading the talent level and scheme. Sign me up.The thing is, even with Freeman being a better recruiter, we still likely won't be a talent match for Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State. Yeah getting a QB for '23 is a long shot, but it would really do a lot to buffer the negative recruiting right now. It is way too easy for a school to be like, "have you watched them play? They literally don't have a quarterback that can get you the ball." It's not even really negative recruiting, it's an objective statement.I'm sure neg recruiting at the optimal level will be done until signing day
Then stay off the board.I really don't need this today.
Thanks dadThen stay off the board.
