Care to elaborate on this? Not disagreeing, but never thought about the odds of a QB being "good" being better or worse than a DE.

High high volume of 5 star QBs fail as compared to 5 star DE’s. Being that DE is arguably the second most important position in college football, that seems to narrow that position down to lowest margin of error to huge impact ratio. This is my opinion. Keeley has a good chance to be a top 5 pick overall. CJ Carr will be lucky to go second round (given history of 5 star QB recruiting). I’d personally be content if we lost Bowen and kept Keeley. Losing Keeley is absolutely devastating to the class and there’s really no if ands or buts about it.

Oh, man, Keon’s mom deleted that tweet. The only scrap of actual news all day.

I am a big fan of Michael Mayer and Tyler Buchner, but if I had to bet money on the biggest impact player for the season and the one guy that I don’t want to see go down over all others, it is Isaiah Foskey. MVP.

she said her goal was for her son to a first rounder NFL draft pick and get a business or sports management degree

Think I’m gonna stop opening recruits threads going forward. Just full of nonsense. I’ll just look at the thread title to see if it has (Notre Dame Verbal). Only updates I need.

Why delete a pro ND Tweet? If anyone wants to compare Mendoza school of business to Bama business school (if they even have one), let’s go. And I think Bama wishes they had Isaiah Foskey, future top 10 pick.

Since 2012 both ND and Bama have had 6 DE draft picks. Alabama 1 in the first, ND 1 in the second. Everyone else later in the draft. Since 2019, ND has had 3 DEs drafted to Bama's 0. They will each have a first round pick this year probably.

I wouldn't have characterized it as a "pro ND tweet." She's likely getting lots of questions as to why they're suddenly waffling on ND and talking to 'Bama, thus her explanation that going in the 1st round is their top priority, with the degree being secondary.

Who was mentioned? If she thinks Keon isn’t better off at ND given those goals, she’s being manipulated. Mendoza is a top business school and Keon is guaranteed to be a first round draft pick at ND just as much as he is at Bama. There is 0 chance Bama will do anything to make him as such that Bama will. In fact, Foskey developed more from where he started than did Anderson. ND develops talent. Bama simply maintains it.

This will be a signing day decision. He will probably take visits in season and make an announcement on signing day. No reason to fuss about everything until then.

You’re behind. Whiskey is Dankes is 9 is Put up or Shut up. Whiskey out here creating alts and fanning the flames to boost up clicks and live out his dream of being a bully.

Lol. Right, ND never has first round picks. If you’re that concerned an elite top 5 all time program won’t make you a first round pick, I suggest Xanax. In fact, if you’re that insane, just get yourself a shrink and send him to Ohio State. They have more first round picks than Bama.

If you’re looking for some good recipes, might I recommend the Dante Moore thread

If the NFL is the ultimate goal (surprise, surprise), then who better to be coached under than AL Golden? That has got to play in our favor, and by all accounts Al Golden is a top notch person. Coupled with a great education, and a players coach. I think we just let it play out. If we lose out on him it’s not because ND doesn’t have a lot to offer.

These people are crazy. If you’re so insecure that you think Bama will make you a first round pick and ND won’t, you won’t ever be a first round pick at Bama or anywhere else. As Brittany Spears once said, you better work, bitch.

You would also think early PT would be a factor. Especially if everyone is on the up and up with how they are handling NIL as it's been claimed in here.
Keeley is a no doubt 5* player but Bama also brought 2 of him in last year.

Spin that however you want but more camera time on national television equals more NIL money

I’d love some data on how many 3 star recruits become first round picks at ND vs Bama. That’s where the devil in the details resides. If you’re a 5 star DE, you’re going to be a first round pick if you go to Iowa. Go where you’re happy and fit in. You’re going to get the same result on the field unless you go to a shit program.

Unfortunately its going to take more than a pretty boy in an ESQ bamboo dress shirt to combat bags on bags on bags

He still hasn't really closed out anyone amazing yet

Dante Moore lost

Jason Moore lost (not even looking for a bag)

In a dogfight for a red-headed kid from Boston--should've been over months ago but actually likes Dabo better (also not looking for a bag)

He's pretty much holding the line right now. Lets be honest, most all these kids to this point are pretty predisposed to picking ND in a typical cycle

Ausberry would be a good get and Gray is solid too--but other than that?

He actually was more impressive in last years class

I mean swing a Caleb Downs or M'Pemba at least? Can't close out Jason Moore? Why aren't Hanifan and Love locked up yet? Where's the quarterback?

Just not seeing too much different right now from an actual results standpoint
You realize that Kelly's class in 2016 had a composite ranking of #15, 2017 had a composite ranking of #11, 2018 had a ranking of #10, 2019 had a #15 composite ranking, 2020 had a #18 composite class ranking at ND, 2021 it was #9 (thanks to Freeman recruits like Sneed), there would have to be around 5 decommits with each replaced by 3stars before it would make this a shitty BK class. The only reason you're able to complain about this class in the way you are is *because* of the high standard Freeman has set in recruiting.
