Ignorance here. Do we think that it's just that he's not good at D Line? or that we think some of that PLUS the staff thinks we're about to lose several more O Linemen to the portal? One DOES need about 15-17 functional O Linemen on a roster, even if you begin by thinking that "these five-plus-three guys over there" are all that will play in a given year. It's why one recruits 4 per year plus the extra eligibility due to all the frosh red shirting. All that dancing about, plus ending injuries, tends to leave you at about 16-17 on the roster plus walk-ons.

II has been saying for a while that they didn't really hear anything positive about him when he was with the DL.

Not getting the humor.

Don't know the guy's situation.

Yeh, I'm too "sensitive." Sorry.

I notice we have only 15 OLine mentioned (I think.) That's light. Given all the non-senior powerhouses on our roster (therefore DIFFICULT starting opportunities in coming years), I could see staff worrying about more transfers. (We DID lose FOUR in one year.) Trying to get a non-fitting player to shift somewhere that needs numbers support seems like a wise concept.

I thought the same thing - 15 including Houstan for spring +Will Black in fall.

No one exhausts eligibility (so they're not all staying)

The Irish Illustrated podcast even mentioned that PWO Sophomore Robbie Wollan is on a modified plan this spring (along with Schrauth and Knapp), noting that this is impactful for Spring practices. Gotta have bodies that can go full strength.

To that point, Justin Fisher moved from being listed at RB to TE.
