I'd put him at a 95 / Top 100.

Like trait said, this season's production/film makes him one of those handful of guys that go into the stratosphere... and if he somehow takes another step and flips to Ohio State, he's the next 5* Bosa.

Not sure why I put that in italics.

I get why Gobaira and Agu were 3-stars, but watching Gobaira's junior film...it's insane how, not only is he a big dude, he can move like that.

6'6 guys should not be able to move like he can in his highlight tapes. Same with Agu. It's no surprise that ND didn't wait for Wesolak or Moss when accepting their commitments.

Both of these guys I can see as fast movers, especially when their senior seasons begin and they start dominating. Agu especially is just getting started.

I know little to nothing on talent evaluation, but of our current commits, his highlights to me are by far the most impressive

Same, he’s a mid 90’s guy. .94/.96 rating somewhere between top 75 and 150. Length, twitch, and motor.

Don't they realize he's an ND verbal?

Haha I think every fan base except Bama thinks their commits drop in the rankings lol. I was glancing at the Michigan board for Tyler Morris and they had similar jokes

Jamie U at ISD bumped his rating up to a 93. That's one spot above 247's 92. We're getting closer to an accurate rating here, lol.

He also said he'll have a feature on it so I'm looking forward to seeing that.

What's the IE rating, LL?

That was mostly tongue in cheek because what do we really know. I can only speak for myself but relative to other players in the class and how impressive his Spring season was, I'd have him in the 93-95 range. I think he's one of the best DE's in the country which puts him somewhere in that range.

It seems like very cycle there is a handful of prospects that 247 sends up their rankings that Rivals just ignores. Rivals evals are getting pretty bad but like I've said elsewhere, BGI and Mike Singer have been crushing recruiting content.

Rivals updating their rankings today. Gobaira should get a decent bump in Composite as a result. Not sure how long it takes the Composite to update/get updated

Again, he's due for a bump in rankings. A lot of top players go untouched or have one guy block them in the highlights. Gobaira is fighting through 2 guys in a lot of his, sometimes 3! Put him in a room with Balis and Elston and watch what happens.

This x2

And he's playing in the DMV so it's not rural Kansas. His film bump is on the same order as Ashton Craig's as far as improvement over Soph yr.

He's not gonna get it but I couldn't give Gobiara any less than a 95 and I'm open to go a lot higher once Sr. year and All Star games are in the rearview.

Looks way too skinny to play inside...but if can get on his mama's lifting program that could change in a hurry

He won’t be playing inside. He’ll play the same position as Foskey and Botelho IMO. He looks skinny at 230 pounds. He should get to 250+ with ease.

He’s bound for Big End IMO. The “skinny” we see now he’s actually already put on like 30 pounds from So to Jr year. Everything all depends how scheme develops but I think you have Agu as a Vyper, Gobaira progressing towards Big End and Ford progressing towards DT. Where they see the field early as FR might be different but that’s where I see the end goals.

LENGTH for days

Length, you mentioned, Dale and He, Ford, Agu Zeigler and Burnham are all 6'4" or over
And the targeted WRS, Merriweather, Williams, Walker, Anderson and Ayomanor are all of size.

Can you or Jack or Boone or Cackalacky or Crus or Lucc or Whiskey opine if LENGTH is a primary screen for players now?

It seems that this would dovetail with Balis ability to add lean muscle mass.

Even Sneed and Tuihalamaka are taller than Drew White.

Is this a new normal?

Length and the Frame to add Good Weight. For a CB length is great when/if you can find it, but at DE it's a much higher priority. With more passing, the need to disrupt passing lanes is more and more important. Which is why I'm always yelling, "Hands Up!" even at the TV.
