Think the Alabama version of that TikTok would include a few more blondes

For the future ND Nation crowd it was just a “day in the life” from Sneed from his visit nothing you wouldn’t expect.

“Coach” Bowden and Freeman may not be trying to flash with whatever FSU has Norvell driving but no slouches on their cars

You can buy 4 of Norvell's Slingshots for what a loaded '22 Escalade like Freeman's goes for.

We all know Notre Dame needs to close the gap on Clemson and Alabama. After watching the Rose Bowl last year, they might have just by a little bit.

Someone like Sneed will really help close that gap. Defensive recruiting right now is quite insane, to be honest.

He’s now headed from campus to the Rivals 5 Star Challenge so might not hear things right away but Singer should have an extra inside scoop once he shows there

It will be interesting to see if he takes that Tenn. OV. Not concerned about it in the slightest but it delays our selfish celebrations, lol.

Odds are that cheeks shows up this weekend? He spoils Jr and Sneeds announcements if he cancels, but that's no reason to go through with a visit

And he was supposed to show a a day before everyone else and visit on Friday.

Gut punch (for me) that he's not going to be in the class if the writing on the wall is correct. But not getting who I want these days is a lot different than 2017.

Ok so I've wanted to ask this for awhile since Sinclair did back a couple months ago. How do you rank the following LB's? Burnham, Sneed, Cheeks, JR, and Ziegler.

I don't know but I'm as sure as one can be that Sneed and Burnham will be studs.

I'll go
1A Sneed
1B Burnham
3 Ziegler
4 JR
5 Cheeks

Would have had JR at 5 and Cheeks at 4 a few months ago but Cheeks' junior film wasn't nearly as impressive to me as JR's was. JR clearly has a role he'll play tho as a Mike LB thumper. Kind of pigeonholed into that role where the others are a little more versatile.

I'd go
Sneed
Burnham
JR
Cheeks
Zeigler

I think Zeigler is good but most of us are adding some mayo to his ability because he is ours.

“Weight off your shoulders” and “see myself” with Freeman. Sounds like someone who was pretty sure ND was right but now knows it is. (Hopefully)

Does that interview give anybody else the vibe that I should be extremely disappointed if we don't land this kid?

I think it's ND and we won't have to wait too long. Maybe he takes the trip to UT out of respect, maybe he doesn't. This one is a wrap.

Yes, I’m with IM3, this is over. Kids are taking visits so maybe he heads to Tenn but not concerned in the slightest.

On a different note, how have Clemson, Bama, or OSU not gone in on this guy.

That's my biggest fear with Sneed. I really hope he's 100% sold on ND because he's going to be a STUD and paring him with Burnham, Ziegler and JR would be an incredible haul.

Freeman is going to get a few guys every cycle that will ride with him wherever. I think Sneed is one of those guys. But I would take a deep breath if they got involved, lol.

No Tennessee

ND gets 90% of the clock.

Zero drama remains.

Serious question here, do you think getting this insane talent to coach in Burnham, Sneed, Kollie, etc will make it easier to keep Freeman around? Or, have an impact? That’s about as good as it gets. He has to consider seeing that through, no?

Fair, and same question applies. If Freeman lands Bowen after getting these other guys, how do you not coach these guys through. The talent level is so far superior to what he’s coached before and I assume with success he’ll get a quality P5 gig soon but nothing that has a LB room like that.

Mostly for Crus and Lucc:

Timeline review (ask yourself what did you KNOW or FEEL on each of these dates?)

12/14/20 Clark Lea named Head Football Coach at Vanderbilt

Early January
some guy named ..Tuihalamaka from Alemany is committed to USC
LSU is making a big push for Marcus Freeman
lengthy athletic Josh Burnham is a Michigan "Lock"
Mike Elston is flirting with Purdue as defensive coordinator
Tyson Ford ain't nothing but a name on a list
terry Joseph being recruited to join Sark in Austin

Ask yourself two questions?
Is is not darkest, always, just before dawn?
is it .childish or genius to sing "What tho' the odds be great or small?"

But then,,,,,,,,,

1/13/21 ND names Freeman D Coordinator
1/18/21 ND offers Jaylon Sneed
1/18/21 Tyson Ford commits to Notre Dame
1/21 ND offers Jr. Tuihalamaka
1/22 Jeff Brohm names Brad Lambert as Purdue D coordinator ((Elston's staying)
1/22/21 Terry Joseph hired by Sark for the Horns...

1/23 Jr. Tuihalamaka decommits from USC
3/17/21 Joshua Burnham commits to Notre Dame.

When the clock struck midnight on 1/12/21 things looked bleak

that was 156 short days ago, shorter than the traditional "break in period"

What do you KNOW now?
How do you FEEL now?

Or, in the words of Rachel Scott

"What are you so afraid of.?"

Well, for my own part, as I deal with shin splints from jumping on this bandwagon

here's to the :"Elstons" and "Kellys" of the board, who never blinked

like Crus, Lucc, Dale, Cackalacky, and so very many others

Go Irish!

IMO, the answer is no. I get what you're saying, but If he gets the right offer, he'll take it. Freeman got into coaching because he loves coaching, not because of these three recruits. I have to believe he believes in himself and his ability to land other great recruits to coach regardless of where he's at. If he can get these three, who's to say he can't get another group like that? Don't get me wrong, I believe he has his best interest in the kids he recruits and coaches, but he also has his best interest in his family and career which trumps players he's only known for a few years. JMO.

I asked myself the same question and IDK. They all have elite LBs stashed in their roster and are in on the elites already this cycle too. IDK but I think they are preoccupied with those guys at the moment.
