Just watched his film again. Something that I really like is his awareness of where defenders are, where his blockers are, and where the open space is. You can actually see what looks like his helmet turning to look for a running lane while he is avoiding a tackle at the same time.

Sounds like we should keep our expectations (Irish) then too. Not sure if this a hours or days or weeks away thing but it’d guess days. Interesting Freeman actually was the guy who offered him at Cinci way back.

Would Tyree have any interest in playing slot (or at least substantially increasing his snap count there)? I think it’s been mentioned on here before, but adding Payne would seemingly make this a much more viable option imo.

I don't think he will be in the slot but I think we will see more 2 back sets.

I'm interested in seeing some of the recruiting writers start casting their commitment picks in the next 24 hours for Payne. I'm from Cincinnati and have been pulling for him over the last few years. Glad to see the Irish have a chance to add Gi'Bran. Any one have any intel?
