Took the words right out of my mouth Crus. Wonder if they are gonna swing for the fences after the Clemson win. I thought the 22 DL class was already shaping up to be good before this.
With Ashton Craig’s commitment, I wanted to look into Indiana’s 2022 prospects and totally forgot about Curry. While I think Hinish was a solid pickup (change of pace from current roster and basically guaranteed to not transfer with new transfer rules), it’s a pretty tough pill to swallow saying we passed on Curry due to size when Hinish is at the most the same size if not smaller.
Anyone know the story here? Weird that ND never was involved with a top 100 DT from Indiana with Bama, Clemson, and OSU offers.
I just think he was never truly interested in nd.... IDK if I believe we passed. Maybe we did but I'm not buying it
Greenwood HS is rarely any good, so I'm not sure if he's getting good coaching or not.
He’s a Trojan, not a Woodman.

story seems pretty obvious; we (Elston) didn't like him that much. Not to say Elston can't be wrong from time to time but trusting the recruiting services over a proven coach is a pretty dubious mind set.
I have this feeling he is going to end up a Vol.
It doesn't feel like OSU's gonna take him unless things change with the Buck's and his QB's going to Knoxville but WHY is this kid not going to IU right now
UTK might get it going a lil bit or it might remain the laughing stock of the SEC but they'll be stuck behind UGA & FL with a fanbase that has huge expectations.
At IU you're fighting to retain your bridesmaid status in the B1G-E which makes every God-fearin' Bobby fan extremely proud. Maybe more important is Bloomington takes a backseat to no one in college experience and Mom can swing thru every couple of weeks and grab your dirty laundry.
Classic case of ego making you go away to play because you couldn't go to your ego's first choices?

Local recruit, Kenneth Grant, visited OSU earlier this year and I was told he has a committable offer from them. Staff told him they are focused on getting bigger on the interior of their dline. Makes sense if he truly has a committable offer as a 3 star and they're cooling off on Caden who is a top 100 recruit.
I watched center grove play last year in the playoffs and this kid can play. No clue what that means at the next level but he was all over the field.
did ND not offer him and if not WHY? dont think i have heard his name until now, for this kid to be so highly rated and being from IN. seems strange their wasnt more buzz about this kid.

I live very near Caden and have seen him play a bit & grew up and played with his coaches and my uncle was a principal in the Center Grove school system, so I won’t say anything one way or the other (good or bad) about Caden, but he wasn’t going to ND. And I think there is a reason ND didn’t agree with his ranking. I’m not the least bit upset about it…
Ironically Ohio State people are claiming he’d be a 5-star if he lived in the south and got more pub.
