I legitimately cannot think the last ND draft pick the Pats made. Even free agents seem to hardly end up in New England. The last guys I can even recall playing there are Sergio Brown and Darius Fleming and neither was drafted by NE.

Edit: had to look it up the last draft pick was Mike Richardson in 2007 in the 6th round

Belechick took his ego down after that and he never saw meaningful snaps again in his NFL career. At least I think so. Could have been a lot better at ND and even as a pro. I’ll just never forget the fumble at the goal line turning our 6 into a South Florida 6 and one of the big upsets Kelly had to live down. Didn’t help Christ career either.

Underrated blocker at ND. I’m glad he’s getting recognition for that aspect of his game with the Pats. Crazy to think he could probably still add weight.

We’ve had some great blocking in the TE room as of late, even if we haven’t had an Eifert/Kmet/Mayer in receiving dominance. Hopefully Flanagan, Flanigan, and Washington LLP can continue this run while Premer enters into his own.
