Bro, I swear I was looking for every way to connect the name Nwankpa to DMX and completely spacing the first name. I am big dumb.

I like Tate and Styles more than X as prospects, but safety is the bigger need. LB recruiting is insane at the moment, and we've got four highly rated WRs in two classes. Safety recruiting on the other hand is average at best right now.

So, what's more important to ND closing the gap? Adding a guy like Styles who is a Jaylon/Hamilton level lock, adding another top option to the passing game, or getting a very good safety prospect in Nwankpa?

X is a great prospect, but so were Derrik Allen and Griffith. I think Nwankpa has a significantly higher chance of being a bust than Styles and Tate.

Still, I think I go Nwankpa because best case scenario, he does turn out to be the best safety in the class and helps us starting next year.

Not sure if that's true, I think it's more that Iowa is where he's locked in and that's an OSU source that they're talking to. Also, I'm very unimpressed with On3 so far. All sizzle, no steak.

Have you subscribed to that site? There is a noticeable difference between the info if you do. And they brought a bunch of people over from 247 & Rivals, so depending on who it is depends on how accurate it is. Some of the guys are garbage, some are the best from the other site. So it really depends on each teams’ site and who they have (which you can see them all if you subscribe) and if those people are trustworthy. The national guys are tougher to read. So some teams’ sites are a lot better than others.

The Rivals guys and BGI are moving over to On3 soon. They won’t announce it, but Stu Coman moved all his other sites over already except ND & the On3 people have confirmed someone is coming over. The Rivals mods have been asked about it & they won’t even respond.

The thing with that is Stu owns BGI, just like he owns the Wolverine. When he moved over to On3 from Rivals he moved over the Wolverine, so wouldn’t he move over BGI too? So wouldn’t Singer also go since he works for Stu, not Rivals?

Billy Schrauth situation and unfortunately OSU is where his heart resides, while IA is where his bodily physically resides for the time being. Personally I feel like this was between OSU/ND, but he chose to keep Iowa in the running to placate the locals as long as possible.

It's far more important for Iowa and ND for this guy. Ohio State is in Stormtrooper mode. Luke and Han shoot a couple, three or four more take their place.

I'm glad he may very well go to Iowa unless his heart is at Ohio State. I guess he just didn't like ND for whatever reason.
