He was kind of an interesting guy from what I remember, I wouldn't be shocked--like I would for some others--if he had a change of heart and came to ND.

If he wanted to be close to home, it's ASU for bust.

$C and UCLA are a good 6+ hour drive away from Scottsdale.

Bama fans seem pretty confident that Lucas will wind up in Tuscaloosa.
i can never understand a kid who basically was wishy washy during his recruitment, went to TAMU and got suspended and then didnt produce much when he did play would think going to Bama to be eternally be in Nick Saban's doghouse would be a pleasant existance

Saban is a big advocate for second chances. It’s well documented.

I mean, at this point it's incredible that USC can manage to sign more than 10 players in a recruiting class. They'll never see the field given all of the transfers they bring in.

That is what I worry about in general. At what point to HS players say... screw it, Ill go to Coastal and play right away for a year or 2, then whore myself out to the highest bidder.

Again making another bad decision IMO. I could see him getting in trouble again. But keep going plays with sketchy head coaches.

Or they could go to USC in year 1 and get paid to practice in world class facilities, if it doesn't work out they can go to a lesser school for playing time.

Not without sitting out. People forget you actually need to graduate to get that 2nd free transfer.
