The one glaring concern was the Trojans’ inability to get pressure on LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier. Despite blitzing on 42.1 percent of dropbacks, higher than in any game last season, their pressure rate was just 15.8 percent, lower than in all but one game last season, per TruMedia. Lynn may have known that would be a problem because he had USC’s defensive backs playing loose coverage most of the night rather than risk getting burned.

Lucas is good their other 3 starters are previous transfer and kinda meh

USC will be a test for us. Can we run the ball consistently on them? We’ll need to be able to do so in the playoffs against similar quality teams. By that time the line should be a more cohesive unit, hopefully we can impose our will on them

i agree but it also goes both ways because they will have a hard time completing a lot of passes down the field against our secondary so they will have to run the ball really well to beat us
