Better a shoulder or foot than a knee. Look at Michigan. They lost Rod Moore yesterday to an ACL. While I'd like to see Leonard develop more chemistry with the offense, I don't think this is an issue for Morrison missing time. The more reps for Gray, Mickey, and Bell, the better.

I would bet they did this to have it cleaned up before the draft in 25 and not have to be done after the 24 season.

My understanding (not great intel) is he could have probably played through it this spring/summer/fall but would probably shown up in team physicals before 25 draft.

Makes sense to me, he doesn't need the spring reps.

MF said he won't be ready when fall camp opens but should be ready to go in time for A&M.

Marvin Harrison Jr vs ND
2022: 5/56 0 TD
2023: 3/32/0

vs Michigan
2022: 7/120 1 TD
2023: 5/118/1

Will Johnson has the hype but B-Mo is the only guy to stand up to MHJ, I’ll take him every time.

I've pointed out those MHJ stats anytime I see a scUM fan say that Johnson is better then BenMo. The stats say otherwise.

Who is faster? It will probably come down to that in the draft.
You and I know that 40 time means bullshit, but of course the league is stuck on it for whatever reason. Kyren was #3 in total yards among all backs last year and Scouts said he'll never be successful because he was too slow.

Morrison & Hunter Top Preseason Defensive Prospects – WalterFootball

By Charlie Campbell (not Walter Cherepinsky; Campbell is well-connected in NFL Scouting Offices)

In the early projections for the 2025 NFL Draft, many have projected Tennessee edge rusher James Pearce Jr. as the top non-quarterback prospect. Pearce created a lot of pressure on the quarterback while amassing 9.5 sacks and two forced fumbles. While Pearce definitely has high first-round potential, the NFL advance scouts had some defenders graded higher. In fact, the highest-graded defensive prospects heading into training camp are Notre Dame cornerback Benjamin Morrison and Colorado cornerback Travis Hunter. Morrison and Hunter are tied in their numerical grade.

The advance scouts have Morrison measuring 6-foot, 186 pounds. In 2023, Morrison recorded three interceptions with 10 passes broken up and 31 tackles. Hunter played offense and defense for Colorado while dealing with injuries. Hunter totaled three interceptions, five passes broken up, and 31 tackles. The preseason measurements on Hunter have him at 6-foot, 181 pounds

In the latest Independent podcast with Pete and Fortuna they seemed slightly hesitant that he might be ready for AM game.

Unfortunately we will not be able to edit him to a 98 OVR (Keeping myself a fair and partial observer)

94 rated in CFB 25. Makes him the 12th highest ranked player in the game
In no world is Will Johnson better than him. The comparable stats against Marvin Harrison Jr show Ben Mo is the guy. I continue to believe there's a skunkbear alum high up in EA's foodchain, which is why they've had more athletes on the cover despite the years they were mediocre.

Key will be reports coming out of camp. If he’s running around like his pants are on fire & making plays, then all is well. In the meantime, this is the point in the offseason where no news is panic time. That’s a helluva opponent for game 1 if he doesn’t get quality time in summer camp. Will he be the next highly lauded ”1st round lock” to fall to the later rounds or will he pick up where he left off his first two seasons?
