Him being a 1st round pick will come down a lot to his measurables. I believe his combine will come out good and he'll be a 1st rounder but remember Julian Love's combine was just OK and he ended up as a 4th round pick despite being a top 3 college CB.

If Morrison falls it's because the league has colluded to deemphasize corner backs like they've done with running backs and safeties. His work against top tier wide receivers is enough to get him drafted in the top 20.

100%. If Marvin is the 4th overall player taken in the draft, and BMo essentially deleted him from 2 football games, measurables should be irrelevant.

I don't think the league colluded to deemphasize those positions. It's because teams have migrated to more of a passing league. Because of this, CB's are still one of the more critical positions.

Love was never projected to go that early due to his body type and lack of speed. Many expected a move to safety/nickel

Baring injury or a complete fall off, Ben Mo should be the first Corner taken in the Draft, but for whatever reason everyone seems to have a hard on for Will Johnson. That's despite the fact Ben Mo did a better job locking MHJ down and has faced better receivers overall.

I love Benmo as much as the next ND fan, but the kid will not be the first CB drafted and probably not the 2nd CB drafted. Will Johnson and Travis Hunter will be selected before Benmo. Saying that as long as Ben stays healthy he should still be picked in the top 15.

I wonder if this is only talking about man coverage. IIRC, on the gain of 11 it looked like Morrison was playing zone based on where he came from to try and break up the pass. It would make sense to not include yardage for zone coverage since not all zones are created equal with regards to coverage area.
