So far we have. Watts, Cross, Mills, he’ll even Love got money. He bought his mom a car with it.

He wouldn't be waiting until the last day if it was a 100% done deal. The issue here is his injury -- if he's going to drop out of the first round down to the 3rd because he's hurt and can't test, then a big NIL package would absolutely be in his best interest because nothing in the NFL is guaranteed. If he's going to be a mid-first pick... where he was getting mocked at the start of the season... it makes sense for him to go.

My guess is that his representation is exploring all options and taking every available minute they have to be "sure" they're making the correct decision.
