This is coming off a season where ND landed Botelho, Mills, Keanaaina and Ehrensberger.

Then the year prior where they landed Foskey, Lacey, NaNa, Cross and Spears.

ND has been recruiting extremely well up front recently.

I really want to flip Gilliam, but he is more of a want than a need, since ND took big classes the previous 2 years. Rubio is a top flight DT, Schweitzer, based on the film, was overlooked as a Vyper, Onye is a project.

We also need to remember that Elston has been money on his evals and developing those projects (see. Ade, Hinish, MTA, Okwara most recently).

I think Onye is going to be an absolute stud in a few years. Prospects from Rhode Island get not love from recruiting services. Add that to the fact that there were no camps this offseason and I think Onye is severely underrated. He reminds me a little of a former Rhode Island DL currently at Michigan. And I think we would all be extremely happy if Onye turns out to be Kwity Paye.

Yes and FWIW Onye was offered early, not late because we missed on our #1 guy. That gives me confidence Elston saw something the services didn't.
