I never have the G's when I have the S's.

Can't speak for anyone else, but I do smirk as I think about how my shit would rank on the 3VP scale.

Volume
Velocity
Vibrations of you cheeks
Poignancy

My and my brothers specially have the scale as we test out new IPAs. Needless to say, we have had more than a few entries over Covid.

Another Boom Boom Pow for Elston. With the staffs decision to start allowing commits without visits, this seemed like an easy guess.

He has big time upside as he's only really played one season of football I think. He has great athleticism and size. Elston seems to be confident he can get great results out of guys who have the physical tools but might not be as technically sound as others, and I have no reason to doubt his ability to do just that at this time.

I would argue that this means Elston can focus on just getting a big time pass rusher/WDE. Full court on Zaire Patterson?

If there is a coach that I have confidence in to get the most out of his players, it's Elston. There really isn't much of an immediate need at SDE/3T so he should have time to mature and grow within the system. Like you said, he has the raw tools to like.

And Yes, pick 2 or 3 'elite' pass rushers that have some interest in ND and go all in on those guys for the remainder of the cycle.

I think it's kind of odd that 247sports has Onye listed as a WDE too. I mean, he likely has the athletic ability, but he's already 250 with the ability to add a lot more to his frame.

Yea, he’s going to be a big boy. He’s already got some of that lower body weight coming on.

Nice, obviously the easiest thing to do is to compare him to Kwity Paye. Onye is slightly higher rated than Paye was out of HS, with a much more extensive offer list. Of course, Paye originally committed to BC pretty early in the process so that could have hurt his chances of getting more offers.

Oh hell yeah. This is a huge get. I think this kid is an absolute stud. IMO he should be a 4 star top 250 recruit on every single service, but he is only a 3 star on each service. I wonder if there were camps this spring and summer if he would catapult to a 4 star. I agree with Beau that he certainly has the athleticism to be a WDE, but he is going to be a SDE for Notre Dame. Woooooooo! Awesome get!

Welcome to Notre Dame Jason.

Yea, I think some of the appeal with this type of prospect is knowing they’ll progress as good teammates, students, etc. through the system for 4 or 5 years.

I love that we're at a point with our quality depth on the DL that we can actually rely on a schedule like this with kids like this now.
