With their recruiting now the way that it is. If they want someone, they are pretty much getting them. We really have to blow them out of the water on their visits. Shipley is looking like a tougher and tougher pull unfortunately imo. Their offensive line class last cycle was probably the best in the country so it doesn't surprise me.

Of the non-ND options, I think Rucci going to Wisconsin would be the least irritating.

ND should offer Riley Mahlman right now while the rumors are fresh and tell him he's the star of the OT class for ND, not the #3 guy behind Rucci and local hero, JP Benzschawel.

Then I leak it to a site or two so they start running with it (becuz he won't post the offer), start driving that wedge...

And NO, I'm not sure how many games the NCAA will make ND vacate for these actions.

It is kind of a cool feature, but it's usefulness is probably limited to a time period close to when they made the prediction. I highly doubt these guys will go back in a month later and change an 8 to a 5. Maybe they will do that on a few high profile guys.

something was needed tho because the analysts themselves werent even using it in the same capactiy.

One would say they used it to pick where they ultimately expected a kid to end up another would say they were using it for who leads now. hard to have a feature that isnt universally operated. The confidence meter i think helps curtail some of those differences in usage.

Boy did their OL let the levee break in that final drive vs LSU. Not saying the play calls were ideal as I suspect Wiscy OL was trying to defend more bodies than they had.
