Explosive runs can be hard on the D.

In these uncertain times Kelly needs to up his game and send the Shipley family a lifetime supply of toilet paper with Michigan’s logo printed on it.
ROLL TOILET!

That was all time...just sayin the donors need to open up the checkbook on this one. Whatever it takes.
Mr Hood should be able to get year one of any graduate degree on the house for that one.
I didn’t see it posted and I don’t know how to embed but I saw mike Farrell saying he believes ND is tied or even slightly above Clemson on landing Shipley
I REALLY feel this is the case with Shipley. Most kids will look at the chance to be signed by the best program as a badge of honor and add on top of that, a great chance of winning an NC in his time on campus BUT...
It's not hard for Shipley to picture himself being McCaffrey at ND... right?
1. McCaffrey plays for the Panthers, 15 miles from his house.
2. McCaffrey is statistically the best RB in the NFL by a mile
3. McCaffrey was coached by u know who.
4. McCaffrey became who he is at the other academic P5 superpower... or at least they were good at football when he was there.
5. IF McCaffrey was happy with his recruitment and coaching from Taylor, if he sees that as instrumental in making him into the multi-millionaire, All-Pro and (if this continues) future HOFer, I'll guess he has reached out to Shipley in a positive manner for ND's cause.
6. When you are so close in comparison to everything that is McCaffrey, you have to look at your professional career over your college career and winning NC's ahead of your future development.
7. ND's roster is more conducive to his development into the next McCaffrey than Clemson's is.
8. He's white.
I think NCAA needs to add more officials for this class since they lost the spring recruiting period.
HOPEFULLY, Blake gets another card from Will in the mail in the future and it will have COMMITTED to ND shown inside! That would be awesome!
"It's a big factor for me," stated Shipley. "Just how much time and stuff they've already put into my recruitment. You can't do someone like that, or if you have to, it has to be the last possible resort. Notre Dame has put so much into my family and I. There's a group of schools I have the utmost respect for and Notre Dame is 100 percent in that group of schools.
"To leave marbles on the table and not give them a chance to get me back on campus and really let them show me all that they have - Coach Taylor has put so much into my family and I. He came to the school every week that he could. I feel like I'd be doing Notre Dame football and Coach Taylor wrong if I didn't visit. That's the last thing I want to do in my recruitment."
Reading through the last two paragraphs just gives me a little pause in my excitement for his possible commitment. If he were committing to Notre Dame...what would it matter if he visited or not? It almost reads like he owes Notre Dame and Taylor a visit before he commits to give them a chance to flip him to Notre Dame. Maybe I am just reading too much into it but that is how it comes across to me.
