Probably should wrap Estime in bubble wrap. We've got no idea what the young RBs are like in pass protection too. Imagine if one of the young guys misses a block and Hartman goes down.

Wow, the young RBs in South Bend must be the truth. People usually quit when they know it's over for them. When Gi'Bran Payne was the first RB drafted for the spring game...we should have seen this coming.
That had nothing to do because he was the only one who was going to get significant carries... only reason

This is honestly one of those losses that I don't feel will hurt that much. The RB room is pretty deep right now.

If he wants to be a bellcow, cool... good luck to him

Very disappointing. Still wishing him luck wherever he lands.

He's been looking for a reason since he stepped foot on campus... he raised his stock a bit and sees himself more than what he is... he's good not great but there was no doubt when price was healthy he was the#1 rb on roster... Diggs can't stay "healthy"

Wishing these players luck is stupid. NIL has destroyed players loyalty to a college. Let the shit show really begin. I will never follow recruiting.

Did he get the USC offer? I don’t think this is a big loss for ND, and I could potentially see Diggs faring better elsewhere in the right setting.

Estime is just that good.

He is very good and when fresh a beast. But now we have 2 back ups with very minimal experience and a true freshman that ain’t here yet. Not mention that puts us at what 79 scholarship players.

A beast? He's good not great... can't stay healthy, lacks speed... now I'm not trying to act like spoiled grapes but always felt the dude thought he was Him when he wasn't

I’m very disappointed, but he doesn’t have an NFL future (or not much) so I wouldn’t blame him if he’s chasing a bag. Additionally, this offense is not going to be nearly as run dependent as 2022. Only so many carries to go around, and Estime > Diggs.

I hope he finds success against everyone but ND.

He was a playmaker, and he was the guy the coaches trusted when Estime had the fumbling issues. Go back and watch some of the big plays like in the Gator Bowl, plenty of speed. Watch him closing out some games like against UNLV. He ran the ball something like 19 times straight in that last one. They knew he was bringing it every play and they still couldn't stop him. Shiftier than Estime, had good hands in the run game and receiving, and was great in pass protection.

This transfer makes perfect sense. He's 1B in the backfield, ND is going to be throwing the ball more, Price returning, Payne looked pretty good, Love getting on campus....backfield is crowded. No reason to sit when he can apparently go to an SEC program and be the clear best RB in their room.

Ok but it was when someone else was having issues he had his chance.estime fumbling and price going down.. but he can't stay healthy... every year he has been here

Good for him. He was getting a lot and wanted more. He was always a team guy, until he quit the team. He has to do what's right for his family, although he doesn't have one.

I kid, I kid! Everything everyone does is great!
