it would be quite the turn of events if he decommits...the tea leaves are certainly there....posted LSU offer, mom retweets it, could stay close to home, j chase hitting him up on twitter to congratulate him...but he just spent how much money coming on his own dime just a weekend ago....crazy

Not saying he's decommitting, but we've all seen tweets like that before. Doesn't really mean much until he's signed.

Carter Karels doesn’t think he’ll decommit for three reasons:
He said LSU wanted him at LB early on and that made him mad.
Now they circle back around a week before signing day because they lost out on others.
He said that the Diggs family had a great visit.

He said it’s possible he could flip but he thinks ND is in too strong of a position at the current moment.

I hope he stays with ND, cause I am not NEARLY as confident in us landing edwards as the rest of you. Hope I'm wrong. Id love to see a Diggs/Edwards combo....but I could deal with a Diggs/Estime combo too.

All I gotta say is this reminds me of Jerry Tillery. ND commit, was showing LSU crazy love up to signing day. Signing day comes we all assume he flips. He doesn’t and the rest is history as a first round pick from ND.

This is why I’d like to see them get in on the Murrell sweepstakes. If Diggs goes to LSU and you get Estime/Murrell I call it a win.

Is anyone here confident in landing Edwards? That's news to me. I haven't heard anyone say that here or anywhere else.

I wouldn't say anyone is "confident", but I would say he is trending. He's close to the vest, and the other teams in the race don't seem confident either. I'd say ND feels at least decent since we haven't seen other offers.

It’s definitely something. Diggs wants to go to his dream school in LSU. This is his get out of jail free card. We need to get on the horn with Deshun Murrell and see if we can pry him away from PSU.

No, that's intentional.

Surely he's known, forever, that ND was recruiting Edwards (started before Diggs himself) and surely he's known about Estime being a back-up to Edwards.

It's been very clear for months ND wanted two RBs.
