He has ton of upside and that's all the NBA (an professional teams in general) cares about.
But, right now he is a diet coke version of Cam Reddish and without the jump shot, because Reddish was able to get hot shooting at times. And that's not a very glowing endorsement right now, because you see where Cam is in the NBA currently. Wesley needs to develop a consistent jumper, free throw shot and learn how to play controlled when attacking the basket.
He can stay at ND, gain valuable experience and get better at his craft, or he can be a G league player and learn the same way or sit on the bench and get small minutes while he learns in the NBA. Obviously its up to him, but $$$ speaking, staying one more year and potentially exploding in year 2 could make him a lottery pick.
