He was most effective in 2022 as the “slot WR” which essentially was detached TE. The boundary experiment has been out of necessity in the room and largely been a fail but the involvement as again basically a TE had the announcers calling him one lol
You think he comes back next year or uses his last year somewhere else

There is no deadline to choose a new school. Guys have to enter by the 28th or for CFP teams, enter by 5 days after their seasons end. A soft deadline would be by add/drop class date if your next school to make a choice.
But I have no insight if he will leave. I’m sure Ga Tech would love to have him.

He is a great blocker, not terribly quick though and his routes could be better. He's a poor man's Greathouse. Greathouse runs crisp routes and gets open more often, and other than a drop early in the season he's always money if it's catchable.

I get you're joking, but don't disparage JT. He has been the consumate team guy all year as a receiver (ocasionally) and enthusiatic down field/inline blocker.
The dudes like JT and Colzie who gave up their spots to transfers without gripe are the grease that keeps the ND machine rolling w/o friction.

Thomas battles every snap he’s out there. Has stepped up at various times in his career when needed. Also I notice he’s the guy breaking it down in the big pregame huddle. Always been a leader. Respect.

Not too shocked. Liked having him as part of the team but essentially his impact plays in CFP felt like they were due to him never really being used in regular season (sort of like how I only saw Colzie in on running plays with him blocking and how that could have been used as a set up for 1 or 2 hopeful explosive plays).
