One of the II guys said Colzie isn't coming to ND. No detail though. It was in today's Podcast.

I remember reading something on the board that he has a really close family. Even though family wants ND he may just want to be close to home, especially now. Just keep recruiting . . .his mother.

I would love to have him in the class and think he would be a fantastic boundary or X?
ND should, and I am sure they have point to EQ, Boykin, Claypool, Fuller (lesser extent) who played that position, had success and made the league. Oh, they also got a ND education.... cause ya know Football ain't foreveahhhh

Loy with a flip to GA. ND the favorite school growing up and moms choice, but yet those little scum bags are probably still gonna pull this off.

Kinda like Robert Beal and probably Shipley, I knew it was too good to be true. Until they can get these players to stick, Notre Dame will never get over the hump.

Should've hired Colzie's Mom's catering consulting business to come in and evaluate all dining hall offferings. That would take 3-4 years to accomplish.

Is this a Panda legit hot take

or an

Ode to our beloved brutha Koon kinda hot take?

i really do believe in the end, we pull this off...BK and company sent his mom that tweet congratulating her on some award which she retweeted. the fact we were his favorite since he was a kid...BK using the mom angle to help which i think will help us in the end. i think it will be a late push towards signing day/ or early signing (not sure if he is an ee)...im sure he feels the pressure currently but it all ends once he signs.....usually i give about 1% chance a kid re-commits but ND is not stopping its pursuit.

Previously committed, didnt de commit out of any spite towards ND, obviously doesnt love another school over and above ND, ND has stay classy with him.
I think we are a solid shot at getting him.

I like ND's chances here and I think they are still making Colzie a high priority behind the scenes. After Colzie decommited he didn't commit elsewhere right away, I think he is just rethinking, and in the end he'll sign with ND.

I still say to get him on campus in June with the other recruits.

Matt Freeman does not think he returns to ND.

At least at this time.

I hope they stick with Colzie and Thornton up through signing day. They’re worth it

Hope so too, but these situations tend to go the other way more often than not.

Agreed and I think ND will still recruit both Colzie and Thornton hard until they announce their commitment. I really want Colzie back in this class.

If they pick up 2 bodies at WR (Styles Jr. & Jayden Thomas or Titus Mokiao-Atimalala or maybe one moves to DB). Then a third WR becomes more of a want than a need. That’s why I’d hope they can reel in Thomas and Styles and then swing for the fences and go all the way with some of the top dudes whether they are committed or not. I’d go really hard after Thornton and Colzie and if you don’t get them then you try for another star in 2022. They don’t really need to take guys for the sake of bodies at WR if they get their baseline 2 on board. Ideally they could land Styles, Thomas, and TMA and then decide which one is best suited for DB and move them back accordingly but i dream big sometimes.
