Not sure about him. While his offer list is pretty long, it's void of the better FB programs and is basically a list of schools with pretty solid academics. We are heads and tails above those other programs in terms of FB, so assuming academics are truly important to him we should land him.

is he for true safety position?

Running stride gave me flashbacks to Lo Wood. I def like him in the box more. Nickel candidate?

If I had to guess, he plays some of the lower competition in Georgia. But he makes it look easy -- almost too easy. He appears to only kick his butt into full gear when necessary. The rest of the time he's running pretty effortlessly.

I actually like his film, but again, his competition might be lower than one would expect when initially seeing "Georgia".

great points. Can certainly see when he needs to turn it on. Sinclair at 247 is pretty confident this will happen. He loved his film too.

I don't know for sure, but based on his height I would think Safety. Lea just said that for LB the non-negotiable quality he is looking for is length. Then again this guy could have really long arms???

I'm not so sure.

Dacula is 6A in Georgia (2nd highest classification). Their region isn't amazing, but they beat Lee County in the playoffs by 35. A team that beat Valdosta in the regular season.

I like his film; he's physical and has a nose for the ball.

He's not playing the likes of Colquitt and Lowndes every week, but some of these average 6A teams would look a whole lot different on film if you put them in different states.

I thought his film was better than the offers. I would really like to see some other offers come in.

But the one good thing is the staff is really dipping in Georgia right now. I like too see hat.

Is that his full offer list? Strange to not see one SEC in the list (Vandy doesn't count).

Really? Then color me impressed by his film.

I wouldn't have thought the school was that big because the town of Dacula is quite small, isn't it?

I think the school is a little over 2,000; Dacula itself is very small but I guess they pull from the surrounding areas within Gwinett County (2nd biggest in the state).

It is concerning that the big boys in the SEC haven’t offered, particularly in-state.

That being said, he still has a whole senior season to play. More offers will come in.

Low-ranked safety out of Georgia? C'mon guys, when's the last time THAT worked out for us?

He’s missing Georgia, Clemson, Michigan, Ohio State and basically any big time offer other than Notre Dame and Stanford

He’s missing an Army All American game invite and appearance (still could happen obviously)

He’s not Kyle Hamilton

$64,000 question though. Is he a LB or S?

I would agree this is an interesting eval. Not a lot of film of him playing backwards and he appears to have some tightness. Lacks the ideal length they usually look for. However, he also shows the ability to hit a crease and really accelerate. I like his RB film just as much as anything. Which should be a good indicator of movement skills, at least moving forward. Closes well and is physical. Does that make him more of a Rover candidate? Is he more of a situational player, nickel/dime package alley S? All things that come to mind. Knowing the fit I have no problem with the take. Would guess this doesn't change our S or LB board much if at all.

Thinking about him a little more and given his size, I'm thinking they may be looking at him as primarily a ST player and being a backup at Safety or Rover. Maybe he gets flipped to RB?

He's an explosive kid. In Sinclair's story he mentions that he high jumped 6'4. Then there is this. Which for a kid that is roughly 6' is pretty darn impressive.

Loy added a CB onto Sinclair's. The new IU guy jumped in on the coat tails too.

in 2.5 weeks he went from 10 schools and 100% open to setting a commitment date.

Perhaps its because i dont see enough of him playing a true safety position in his film, and im usually not on the switch a kids position train, but this kid might be able to get a look on O.

From Loy: https://247sports.com/college/notre...l-Ball-Pick-for-Notre-Dame-June-19-148340651/

What's interesting is he says the Gug isn't actually all that confident, but three sources at the other schools seem convinced it'll be ND.

I wouldn't break out the champagne too early. This kinda feels like one where he's keeping it very close to the chest and all the schools are looking at the top five (Notre Dame, Stanford, Duke, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech) and saying "c'mon it HAS to be ND, right?"
