Camping at ND in a few weeks per Greg Biggins' Freebie:

'21 WR Beaux Collins lands three new offers following Showcase

“I’m going to Notre Dame for their summer camp in June,” Collins said. “I think thats June 9th I believe but I’m looking forward to getting out there and competing at that one.

Had a great SJB Showcase and the offers started rolling in.

Transferred down from Sherman Oaks Notre Dame (CJ Sanders) where he played as a Freshman.

Looks good in gold...

Got his first CB. Ohio St.

His QB is going to Clemson after this year so it'll be interesting to see who they have tossing him the rock next year. My guess is the Catholic heavies will all be chasing Jake Garcia from Narbonne.

Wish Buchner was in OC instead of SD. Would love to see him at MD or SJB. Maybe he'll drive up the coast to play at San Clemente or JSerra? One of his teammates, Champ Johnson transferred to JSerra this year.

It’s amazing how far USC has fallen. They can’t even land the top kids in their own back yard anymore. Plus it’s no longer ND, Oregon, and Stanford landing them. Clemson and Bama have been snagging these kids as well.

As a freshman, Collins joined DeAndre Hopkins, Sammy Watkins, Artavis Scott, Hunter Renfrow, Deon Cain and Justyn Ross as the only Clemson freshmen in the Dabo Swinney era to record at least 30 catches and at least 400 yards as the California native totaled 31 receptions for 407 yards and three touchdowns.

From the ISD article on his commitment. Beaux showed a lot of promise as a freshman. That's a hell of a list of players at the position to be included alongside. I think their offense did him no favors the last couple of years. They seemed adverse to pushing the ball up field at times and I think a big wideout like Beaux would benefit from winning those contested catches downfield.

I'd be happy if he gave us his typical 30 - 400 and 4 TDs, but I think he might be due for more like a 50 - 750 and 7 TDs kinda year.

All 3 WR positions are better already than in 2024.

Boundary is better with Beaux
Field, Mitchel is better than TM
Slot is better now that Greathouse and Fiason can focus there rather than being bandaids for underperforming Boundary/Fields.

And they have 3 incoming freshmen that could push for playing time

There is zero chance these guys would commit if they didn't know RL is committing right?
