The kid he's taking a rep with here is Ridge Docekal from Scottsdale Saguaro. He's the next one from QBville. He should be in South Bend for the '22 tryouts this summer. 4.0 student too.

Here's what I take, Singer and another guy I know said it was a dead heat. The guy I know, is no ND fan either. So.....

If your uber athletic, REAL dual threat QB just tied a guy who is obviously less physically talented and ran for less than 100 yards last season in a passing only combine...

Listened to BGI interview Adam Gorney of Rivals discussing Buchner. Nothing negative from Gorney that Tyler himself could help but he did say the only thing that gives anyone pause is the weak competition he’s faced.

This wasn’t a diss on Buchner’s skills. He raved about them. And he believes Buchner will do well vs D1 defenders but he said he wants to see him make the same decisions & throws against P5 committed DBs who are in the receivers’ faces. That should occur in the camps.

He said even if Tyler struggles initially on the camp circuit, he’s still confident, he will be a great QB in college..

OFD's article suggests that him playing against better competition is going to help his preparation for when he enters College. Gives him a little easier gap between an already big gap in HS vs CFB play. Makes sense to me, if he's really hungry and already looking to try and land the starting job asap.

Gotcha. Good idea. Think that jump really hurt Clausen in his freshman year. Had very little pocket presence coming from a high school program where he never got touched. Of course, that '07 offensive line would have made anyone look bad.
