My wife, girlfriend at the time, and I had just bought our first house together in 2013. Spent a bunch of time picking out furniture to fill the house with. Well, ND vs Stanford is on and I’m drinking like I always did. I can’t remember the specific play but something went awry and I heel kicked the coffee table and split/cracked that sucker real good. She was not happy. Good thing we were cheap back then. The replacement didn’t cost too much.

My remote accidentally slipped out of my hand when I threw them down in disgust at the missed int that would of sealed the game and lo and behold nailed the TV. Wife was not happy

I generally am a big reaction guy, but that game gutted me. I just sat in silence in the dark out on my patio for about 15 minutes. Just sat. Dejected.
