Having been to all three, all three schools and towns are pretty different from one another.

Football aside, Notre Dame most resembles Duke, an environment he’s already familiar with.

Auburn-Opelika is obviously close to home, and he’s bound to know a ton of people and have friends there (I think I read his girlfriend attends Auburn?).

Ohio State is kind of the odd one out. However, they’ve produced the best quarterbacks of the three and have had the most recent success of the three.

I’m not sure if he’s even Catholic (or how much that comes into play), but the Gulf Coast region has a ton of Catholics.

Obviously I don’t know shit, but it just appears to be the odd one out. I feel it’s a Notre Dame / Auburn decision. Other than money, Ohio State doesn’t really make sense.

Well, objectively speaking, if you want to win a national championship at a program with a track record of producing high-draft-pick QBs, Ohio State would make more sense than Auburn or Notre Dame.

That said I of course think Leonard should come to Notre Dame. Auburn sucks and Ohio State probably wants something else in a QB than what Leonard brings to the table.

How can throwing to 5 star only WRs and knowing you'll be in the playoff discussion above ND/Auburn in all likelihood not make any sense for a 1 year QB?

Not at all saying he's going there but unsure how someone can't see the appeal.

We are going to have to have a serious conversation about the staff if they don’t land him after passing on Will Howard. They literally called up Howard and said “hey change of plans we got a different guy” … you don’t do that unless you have it locked in stone.
