Betting the first three commit in a similar refrain from last summer. If they make it to the visit, ND is gonna close on the guys they want.

Alexander is interesting. The size shows up on his highlights, but not the twitch. But that's a massive ball of clay for Partridge to work with.
If Parks leaves uncommitted, I predict he is Oregon bound especially with that OV next week

I really can't get a read on Igwebuike

That's fair, but i'm basing my confidence level on their closing rate last year, coupled with the fact that ND isn't backing down from a bidding war this year.

Combine that with the entire package they can offer- the majority of us will be satisfied with this class.

That is a pretty big pickup for them actually. Very surprised. He was not high on my board based on the other names ND is in contention with, but that is definitely a good get for Purdue.

Do we have any shot or planned visit with this guy? On hit and hustle today Jamie and Greg agreed this is a full blow 5* and the ratings are way off.

Caught a little bit of the show and I agree wholeheartedly with them when it comes to Safety rankings. It's laughable where these early S ranking are at and then where they end up and those top guys rarely end up being highly ranked. S position is so much about football IQ and instincts the speed.

sounds like the staff is prioritizing a smaller class, with higher NIL concentration among top end players. They're taking advantage of the numbers they have at some positions in the program and aloting extra funds to positions that they have some ballers on the board... Guys like Sesay, Henderson, Jones Jr, Simien and Parks / Alexander won't come cheap and ND is looking to wrap those guys up over the next 2-3 weeks.

I like the strategy. I'd rather take a class of 24 guys and add significant impact, instead of taking 27 guys and adding nunbers to the program with lesser players.

Below appears to be what they're shooting for...

QB: Champ Monds
RB: Lathan Whisenton
RB: Isaiah Rogers
WR: Julius Jones Jr
WR: Jackson Coleman
TE: Titus Hawk
OL: Olu Olobubola
OL: Albert Simien
OL: James Halter
OL: Richie Flanigan
OL: Jackson Hill
DE: Abraham Sesay
DE: Jackson Vaughn
DE: Aidan O'Neil
DT: David Folorunsho
DT: Brayden Parks OR Tyler Alexander OR Segun Alexander
LB: Kaden Henderson
LB: Roman Igwebuike
CB: Xavier Hasan
CB: Ace Alston
NB: John Gay III
S: Zayden Gamble
S: Andre Hippolyte
LS: Sean Kraft

I know I was saying I want Gayles in another thread. But I would trade him for Simien, Henderson, Hippolyte, and one of those DTs....

The right approach when you have our player retention and ability to bring in transfers

247 shows:

27 Class
5 - top 100
8 - top 150
14 - top 250

28 Class (currently):
6 - top 100
7 - top 150
8 - top 250
Notably missing:
Lathan Whisenton - top 100 player by EOY
Champ Monds - top 150 player by EOY

Others could rise into the top 250 or fallout but the two above seem like no brainers

ND still appears to be in contention with:

Sesay - 27th
Gayles - 35th
Simien - 36th
Fakatou - 55th
Henderson - 56th
JJones - 116th
Parks - 130th
Igwebuike - 187th

Andre Hippolyte - unranked but ISD made him sound like a lock top-150. Uncertain if we have real traction with him.

All you need to know for recruiting news is right here. Posted 20 minutes ago and holy hell is this article sloppy. He has zero clue what’s going on and doesn’t even bother to edit that McAfee isn’t visiting and Jones switched his visit. What an embarrassment.

I didn't even notice the JJJ visit date
