List is missing Myles McAfee (6/12 OV), Segun Alexander (6/19 OV), and Roman Igwebuike (6/12 OV).

Noted, the list is long and I don’t get the sense ND is pushing for those guys. Maybe Roman more than we think but they seem like outside looking in.

Agree on McAfee. Think both Alexander's are dependent on Parks.

Locked on Irish reported Segun may have issues getting enough credits to graduate and qualify for ND....

Parks and Fakatou visit before. I don't think that is a coincidence

That defeats the entire purpose of reclassifying 🤔 Who is guiding this young man if you can't graduate and qualify at your top choice to reclassify?

If ND misses on Simien, Henderson, Parks, Gayles and Fakatou, I'm trying figure out how I would feel about a class of...

QB: Champ Monds
RB: Lathan Whisenton
RB: Isaiah Rogers
WR: Julius Jones Jr
WR: Myles McAfee
WR: Jackson Coleman
TE: Titus Hawk
OL: Olu Olobubola
OL: James Halter
OL: Richie Flanigan
OL: Jackson Hill
DE: Abraham Sesay
DE: Jackson Vaughn
DE: Aiden Hill
DT: David Folorunsho
NG: ????
LB: Amarri Irvin
LB: Roman Igwebuike OR JT Austin
CB: Xavier Hasan
CB: Ace Alston
NB: John Gay III
S: Zayden Gamble
S: Karnell James OR Andre Hippolyte
LS: Sean Kraft

On one hand there would be some excellent players in that group. On the other hand it would definitely feel like some key pieces were missed and that class would probably fall outside of the top 5 overall nationally. ND would have to really push the flip game hard in order to make up ground! Let's hope they can go get at least 2/5 among the guys I projected them to miss in this hypothetical.

The only reason this wouldn’t be a top 5 class is bc Monds / Vaughn are being punished for reclassifying

That's still 3 5*s and a couple more high 4*s, not including Vaughn or Monds. I would be slightly disappointed with a class outside of the top 5 but that's still a really solid class.

I'm not suggesting that it's would be outside of the top 5 only from a rankings perspective. It would be my opinion that the likely finishes for Texas A&M, Miami, Ohio State and Oregon would be superior, and ND would be battling for the 5th spot with the likes of Oklahoma, Florida and Georgia (who will surge late).

Landing 2-3 of the guys I mentioned, or flipping similar caliber players late would cement this class in the top 5 for me (likely as high as #3).

When all is said and done, I think we land 2 or 3 of those 5. And then someone else late that makes us verry happy

ISD update. Pretty status quo. JJJ appears headed to ND above all else.

No one knows on Fakatou, he could go to any of the 4 schools.

Henderson and Simeon probably have Texas A&M out front but not insurmountable.

LSU making it interesting with Seasay.

Hopefully Henderson makes it through the weekend at Texas A&M and gives ND one more final look before deciding. That one is a test of Marcus Freeman's "chops" given thay he's taken a personal stake in his recruitment.

Simien would cap off the most impressive OL class I can remember anyone landing for Texas A&M and would downgrade ND's OL class from "Elite" to "Really Good".

I'm going to assume Ohio State for Fakatou until I hear otherwise. Would be a pleasant surprise but I'm not banking on him in any way.

Jones Jr is Irish unless there is some kind of last minute change of mind. I'm confident on that one.

Losing Parks and Sesay would greatly diminish the quality of "what could have been" for the DL class. He's a "must get", especially if Fakatou goes elsewhere.

It's going to be a highly interesting next 3 weeks in recruiting. It's going to completely shape the finish of ND's class.

We’re playing a dangerous game by being the final visit for a lot of these guys. That being said, if we can get them to stay uncommitted and make the ND trip, I actually feel reasonably confident they will bond with each other and the other commits and most will see the golden light. Just need them to get there.

As @BrooklynDomer said, get these kids on campus and we have a shot. I am most confident that we get Sesay, Simeon, Fakatou, and Henderson on campus (could flip the last 2). Parks is scheduled to visit us before Oregon. Hopefully we can convince him the 1785 mile distance from Oregon is too much

Sesay, Parks, Igwebuike, Tyler Alexander, and Myles McAfee are the official visits for uncommitted prospects this coming weekend

Betting the first three commit in a similar refrain from last summer. If they make it to the visit, ND is gonna close on the guys they want.

Alexander is interesting. The size shows up on his highlights, but not the twitch. But that's a massive ball of clay for Partridge to work with.
