Things are coming into focus for Fox, Clemson just offered his brother a scholly, currently a JUCO guy. Not a fan of that becoming a thing but I get it from his POV I suppose.

Yup. About a week ago which aligns with ND change. Dabo won’t use the portal but is offering JUCOs 😂

Honestly he’s bigger than the Von Brandt kid. 6’3 200 pound safety at least you can throw on punt coverage

I highly doubt ND would go to the portal for a QB, I know you said maybe, but I think it is a pretty solid "no." They will have a 4-way competition between some pretty talented QB next year. That would be an awful look for ND to land all of those players behind Carr and just go to the portal.
It all depends on if the staff thinks the 27 team could win it all. I am talking about a one year QB. Could then hand it off to one of the younger 3 (Hebert ain't it)

If Carr is off to the NFL after this year, then hopefully Jarrard is ready to take over. I don't see Grubbs as a starter on a championship level team (would love to be wrong here) and Monds will be a true freshman in 2027.

Disagree Grubbs or Jarrard should both be good enough to win a title. Ohio State won a title with a guy the processed out, Georgia won multiple titles with a walkon. If you put good players around them which Notre Dame should have a loaded WR room and OL then you should win

What Ohio State QB are you talking about? Will Howard was not processed out. And please don't use those Georgia teams as some kind of model. They are the exception not the rule.

To me, it comes down to game game reps are so valuable. Also, depend how high they are on Monds. If they think Monds is the long term elite qb, they will absolutely consider a 1 year good rental to not run him off by starting grubbs or teddy

We didn’t “process out” Howard. That’s not what that means.

Visiting next week

I'm stating the consensus but I want Parks so much more than this guy. Watch their two films back to back, Parks' fire is off the ball at another level. Alexander is just big.

That's what I saw as well, Alexander seems to profile as a block and space eating NT and is bigger than Parks will get.

Parks looks like that rare playmaker from the inside and isn't undersized himself. I don't think he's limited to one position on the inside.

I think Alexander is overrated as a low 4 star. There's nothing there but size. Maybe he can change that, obviously coaches see something else.

LB coach better get it together, it's been years since we have had a "very good" class of LBs....1 good player and 1 average player or 1 good player, 1 average player and 1 who won't ever the field classes won't get it done.

It's been since about 2023 at this point and it's not like we can rely on the portal at LB because the only good player we've got out the portal was JJB, and of course that was 2023 as well. 😳😳
