I'd be pretty shocked if they take more than one more, unless Glover or Roman I want to hop on board before Satele or Henderson decide. Most likely scenario to me is they saw Fox outgrowing LB and turning into an edge, not gonna take him with Vaughn on board now while waiting on Sesay and Fak.
Yea I've said the same thing with Fox, guy is a gamer but will end up in that 6'5 250lb range and on the Edge at some point.

Im just upset we haven’t landed all the Chicago kids. If we aren’t making inroads in New Jersey and Florida, then it seems like this class if a failure

I guess I should’ve just said there wasn’t any new good news in the update. Anyone that pays attention to recruiting knows we are in great shape for Jones and Sessay.

The Parks update is pretty frustrating. I know they landed Folorunsho, but Notre Dame struggling to land kids from Chicago will always be a head scratcher. Especially when they’re already at a Catholic school.
Sadly it's not really a head scratcher, many of those kids aren't Catholic and could care less about the ND Degree. They go to Catholic schools because that's where best football is in Chicago.

But for many of the top recruits its about football, fun and sex. If you don't care that much about school then ND is going to be a hard sell no matter how good the program is doing. They can go elsewhere football is king, school is secondary and a University has an abundance of fun and an abundance of girls. That is something that ND can't offer.

In the pre-NIL world, I would agree. Let’s not act like Oregon is some football factory. They’re best known for having zero traditions and getting pantsed in the CFP.

But they are in the eyes of these young kids. The NIL has actually helped the non-cheating programs to compete with the ones who have been paying these players all along. What hasn't changed is the kids and families who don't care about education and just want the bag and the football development.

Notre Dame offering more money isn't going to attract that type of recruit when it comes with more responsibility. This type would take lets say $300k to have the party, girls and football scene over ND offering $500k and having to go to class and be responsible.
