Has there been any update on Joe Brunner from WI? Either ND or otherwise? I saw that Texas might be interested, but no news aside from that.

Interested to see if we have any transfer outs in the last few days.

If we took Hayes the RB, I can’t imagine everyone’s ok with it, and wouldn’t be surprised if a WR bolted (don’t see how Salidate or Williams get meaningful snaps).

Don’t see how anyone on DL could be upset. Maybe a corner? Obviously hoping for none but wouldn’t be shocked.

ISD can confirm the departure of Cook Frank Smith from the South Dining Hall crew. He has been instrumental in implementing gluten-free dishes as well as helping man the carving station for the last 2 years.
Cook Smith: "Notre Dame has been great. They pay well, and appreciate my time here. Time for me to move on as I have decided to transfer to Perkins due to wanting to work with chicken strips and specialize on dealing with the elderly."

Might be more appropriate for the Dante Moore thread, but the Perkins on 933 closed at the end of November.

Yes. He is way too expensive for the needs we have/don't have.
With all due respect, in what is probably going to be our last year with CJ Carr and/or Marcus Freeman, the cost should not matter one bit. If they're someone that can help us win football games, especially in December and January, money should not matter

easy to say when you're spending other people's money. The school only has direct control over rev share funds, and those are almost certainly fully deployed on retention (CJ Carr alone probably is getting a significant chunk). We can't wish more NIL funds into existence, but here's a link to Rally if you want to cut a check: Rally

Why do people keep saying MF will be gone?
I'm not, exactly. But he's going to be the subject of just about every major coaching search from now until the end of time. Especially in the NFL ranks. I'm just saying don't take this run, or next year's roster for granted. No stone should be left unturned while we have what we have in place
