I'm predicting a clunky ND victory here. NC State isn't good, but they're not horrible. This might be a sleepy home game sandwiched between a frisky Boise team and our arch-rival.

ND 35, NC St 20

If you see my record (0-5 so far this year!) I wouldn't put too much stock in that prediction, however

Go Irish! Beat Wolfpack!

Standings update:
@FLDomer picked up his 3rd point of the season, and 13 others got their second point. So, there is beginning to be some separation from those of us (ME!) who haven't gotten a single point yet as we near the halfway point of the regular season (already?!).

I think the offense gets back on track, the defense causes two turnovers and continues it's improvement. We miss another extra point.

41 - 17 Good Guys.

We will score 3 defensive td’s in this game because why not. I’m taking my kids to birthday party while the game is on, so I’m not too thrilled. Hopefully no one questions what’s in my Yeti.

If you bet $5 on this and won you'd be very happy with yourself...

On paper, ND should be able to light up their defense. And their offense is reasonably mediocre... much worse than A&M/Miami/Arkansas, slightly better than Boise State and Purdue. So this is a "show me" game for the defense to hold them under 21 and build off of Boise State.

I think ND 35 NC State 17 is about the right score. Although it's easy to see how ND could get up in the 40s.

It feels like a 42 - 13 kind of day. CJ with 3 TD's, Love with 2 TD's, Price with 2 TD's (nope, that's not too many). Just dominate at every opportunity.

We can’t allow this QB to kill us with his legs. Another sold out crowd. The first half is slow and the second have the clean this up and get it done.

They giving up 27.6 points a game. I think our offense can down that with ease.

ND 41-22. Late late score by NC state and they go for 2. ND doesn’t cover.

My heart says 42-10. My mind thinks a garbage TD to make it 42-17. Whoever makes these voting point spreads are good. I have a 25 point win but voted 26-33 hoping my heart wins out.

35-21, NC State scores late to make it seem closer than it actually was. Some continued sloppy play, but nothing serious. Irish have never lost with me in the house so it’s a given.

Just reviewed their stats and ratings. While we did have two much stronger opponents on our schedule, we are fairly even with good offenses and average to below average defensive play thus far. I just took the over. 45-20. I would love to be wrong but just on stats I find it hard to think we keep them single digits.

I’d hammer the over. NCST will score points. Hopefully, ND scores twice as many points.

I think the Irish ☘️ fire on all cylinder's and play a complete game. Freeman pulls Carr and offensive starters early 4th, which keeps it from being a monster blowout.

Irish 42
Wolfpack 10

People are saying that against Boise State the ND offense played poorly...they had two chances at 2 more TD's offensively and had a sure pick six get dropped. NC State isn't Boise.

W 49-10

I'm leaning towards letting the kicker rest if he's not full go. Feel like last year we pushed Jeter too early and he suffered then once he was fully healthy he had a great year.

Sorry probably should've put this in the GameDay thread
