Standings update: We finally had the majority get the correct pick against Purdue (thanks to an Irish win, of course) with 38 correct predictions.

@FLDomer , who has been correct in back-to-back weeks, is now leading the pack with 2 points.

ND 41
Arkansas 27

ND's offense continues to roll and jumps out quickly. Arkansas keeps it close most of the game, Jeremiyah Love ices the game with a touchdown with a few minutes left on a time eating drive. Sam Pittman is then roasted over a fire and Bobby Petrino becomes Arkansas's head coach.

I am gonna go 48 for the Irish and 30 for the hogs.

The defense is not much better however they come up with two huge turnovers in the second half that hurts the hogs. I also believe our special teams makes a huge play again this week.

I'm curious if this is one that we can make it so you can change the prediction up till game time or something? I'm predicting the score with Moore and Smith being available. But if it turns out they are not, then I would want to change my pick.

Well the good news is that you will have until an hour before the game so we would likely know by then. But I can look into it if you think that 55 mins or so is critical (not being sarcastic at all) - I would probably need a mod to do so. LMK

ETA - I can "toggle off" the option to close the poll at 11:05, but since it has already been published, I can't change the cut off time.

I submitted my prediction already, is there a way to change it if need be later? If not, no worries. I just take my prediction score every year very seriously.....

We're right there with multiple top 10 teams, but we're going to lose to Arkansas...
OK
I really don't get the logic, either. I said the same thing in the Arkansas thread.

Defense seemed to turn it up a bit against Purdue in the second half until the backups went in, and that was a savvy QB who was chucking the rock all over the place.

Hoping that's a "turn the corner moment" - even if we hold them to < 30, I really like our chances to win this one. Arkansas is a good offense so I don't expect a shutout even if it was our 2024 D with Golden.

I'll just turn on vote changes for this one. I don't see the harm in it. It will still shut down at 11:05 AM.

Memphis ran all over these guys a week ago. Even if Arkansas sells out against the run (easier said than done with Love/Price), Carr has shown more than enough that I don't think teams truly can load a box. His rapport with Fields and Faison is growing. Would love to see Raridon back in the fold and, for the love of God, can we get Greathouse involved?

ND should have no problem scoring. Freeman lit up the D-staff this week, so i have a feeling we will see some more pressure dialed up to support our suspect coverages. Hoping the front 7 can get home and corral Green. We won't keep them off the board, but can we generate enough stops/turnovers to pull away?

No reason we shouldn’t have a running game like last week.

Our offense is going to score like they did during the Purdue game. Unfortunately their offense is going to score more frequently than Purdue. I’m predicting a close one where hopefully we come out on top. Whoever gets the ball last will likely win.

OK
I don't know .... I don't think A&M and perhaps Miami are all that. Given our injuries and seeing what little Ash was able to concoct after a bye week against A&M and watching our defense play again an abysmal Purdue team (30 points, 300 passing yards, and 20 first downs), I'm not feeling it. Vibes are off. I think there's more to it, internally. Lots of angst and animosity. I don't trust Freeman or Ash to fix it. Not this year. Petrino will put on a clinic against them. Can't believe I'm doing this ... Arkansas 35 Notre Dame 28

I can maybe go with not being sure if Texas A&M is a bona fide top 10 team, but they get the benefit of the doubt. Not sure what else you need Miami to prove to you. They've had probably the toughest schedule to date, maybe outside our own. Either way, I have faith the boys are figuring it out. And this offense can hide some mistakes the defense has against teams of this caliber.

I think they found something in the 2nd half of the Purdue game

Pretty sure Memphis got a ton of those yards from the QB
