This game is so intriguing to me. I'm interested to see how ND, offensively, will approach the game. Do they keep it close to the vest and rely on a heavy dose of Love/Price/Williams? They thought being, you're on the road in a hostile environment with a new QB, and the less you show of Carr equates to less A&M has on him in the coming weeks. Or, do they say the hell with it and play it as if they had a 5th year returning starter at QB? As with everything, it probably lies somewhere in the middle.
I think the key is to consistently move the ball (no 3 and outs), which, in theory, ND should be able to do with its offensive line and backs, maintain the field position advantage, no turnovers, and wear them out. It could be tight for the first half and most of the 3rd quarter, but playing that way (with sound defense), and that dam will break.
