My eyes will be glued on the QBs at practice tomorrow. I would be shocked if reps are still split 50/50. They have to be leaning one way or the other by now.
For the love of all things holy, please share what you see. I feel completely in the dark about how things are going in practice

I’ve been thinking of what would be the best, most efficient way to chart stats and numbers.

If you’re able to share…how/why do you have access to practice? Just curious.

It’s gonna be CJ Carr. Book it now. Haven’t seen any of the speculators outside the program talking about how Minchey might have a breakout season. It’s all about Carr. One guy out of 4 looked like a starting QB in the spring game. It wasn’t even close. Those things don’t change with. Month of practices. Carr will be the starter and the story.

Idk who Bruce is. He very well may be getting his info from VIP boards. But, in his defense, he’s right a majority of the time.

I've noticed he very rarely posts anything definitive. Just vague gifs and memes that he can point to and say "See?!"

He definitely has many vague posts, but he’s been correct with all of his recruitment and injury leaks since I started following him.

Maybe i havent watched him as close

Everything I see is, "Big things coming this way!" or "What a bummer..."

Not calling you out, but I've just seen stuff that he could easily re-center as "I was right" by monitoring paid accounts (and following IE)

Case in point... What the hell did that Kenny Powers meme even mean?

He could easily say he meant CJ was always the dude and he was right

Maybe he has sources, but it sure doesn't look like it to me given his history

I don’t have any inside info so this is just a hunch but hear me out on the qb situation

I think Kenny Minchey or CJ Carr will be the starter at Miami, and I’m fairly confident in that statement

Ohhhhh 100%. If Minchey is named the starter he will without a doubt quote tweet that post if he’s named. I’m just saying that the night before recruit announcements he seemed right, although his posts are GIFs that don’t reveal much.

Had a dream last night that Kenny was named the starter (not rooting for one over the other) which is odd, since I almost never remember dreams, and when I do, they don’t involve Notre Dame football depth charts. Meaningless to the universe, but probably relatable to anyone here whose subconscious has ever broken imaginary news.

The crazy part to me is how we talk about the run game last year as if Riley was not a unique running talent at QB—one of the best I’ve seen.

Without him, it’s going be a whole lot easier to stack the box and slow down the running game no matter how talented our RBs are.

Even Saban in his prime at Alabama realized running it down opponents throats with the best RBs and best OL did not score enough points against the gunslinging teams.

So we need a QB to stretch the field or we’re going to take a step backwards in the run game, regardless of Love and Price.

Conservative football creates straighter path to 10 wins/year. But, with only a couple of exceptions, it tends to come up short in the NC.

Well if it makes you feel better, Hit and Hustle has been beating the drum that the QBs are throwing way more downfield than previous years. I think verticality is going to be pushed as an offensive concept much more than prior years.

To your point with the "conservative football = regular season success" I think the real question is if running the ball is good enough to get us through Miami and A&M. Regardless of who the QB is, I expect the offense will look substantially different by the time the post season starts. Get those first two wins and roll into the playoffs healthy (with hopefully a bye) and I'll begin worrying about the verticality of the offense in November.

I’m so confused by this, unless they know something, it seems like there is much more of a pro Minchey campaign. Did Carr do something to these people?
Just trying to generate clicks and interest.
