Any team in the playoffs should be, at a bare minimum, "scrappy" enough to be a concern. Otherwise they shouldn't be there. If we can't clear Arizona State in South Bend, then we really have no business playing for a championship.

Agree, plus Iowa State is a decent/good team playing below their potential today. I'd rather play ASU than anyone else in the field, especially in South Bend

That DB was tiny too, so easy for him to have avoided targeting. Have to really be targeting at his size to make that hit.

ASU is tough and a good turnaround story BUT if we get them in the first round at home, MMFF better immediately dial up this November 2014 ASU/ND game and have it playing over and over again… ASU made Kelly and ND look bad. I believe ASU HC was Todd Graham, OC/Assistant HC was Mike Norvell, and Offensive Assistant was - you guessed it - A very young Kenny Dillingham. We owe them some pain! Payback is a bitch!
