  • Forever Midwesting. CST Rules.
  • Liberty is a slight favorite at home coming off of their first loss of the season.
  • Boise State is ranked 15th, they have a Heisman favorite at RB and they gave Oregon all they could handle in September.

I would say that Pitt/SMU and Duke/Miami are the most interesting games this week in relation to how they could affect the Top 12 and CFP. Let's not forget the latter game sub plot... Manny Diaz run out of Coral Gables for Mario Cristobal and eventually ends up at Duke and now comes into Hard Rock Stadium for retribution - Let's go Blue Devils!!

I'm still confused who to cheer for in PSU/OSU and I get OSU has the media behind it, but a 10-2 OSU with no conf title is not ahead of ND in final polls... So go Lions?

We should be rooting for Pitt, as gross as that sounds. SMU plays nobody else the rest of the way. Pitt has a couple potential losses left with Clemson and Louisville.

Who knows how the B1G and SEC will shake out? The playoff field would be weaker if 2-3 ACC teams got in
I agree. Overall we want the frauds to keep winning so it weakens the overall field. I will be rooting for Penn St over the Buckeyes for this reason.

Yes. I would think a OSU loss knocks them out for good. The likely scenario is that OSU wins though, Penn St then coasts the rest of the year and both will make it. If OSU loses again to Oregon in conference championship, it won’t matter. I think we need Indiana to lose 2.

Also if Tennessee and Texas Am lose again, it likely limits SEC to Texas and Georgia. This sets a field of Oregon, OSU, Penn St, Georgia, Texas, G5, ACC, Big 12, Notre Dame, plus room for ACC/Big 12/Indiana. Then the next tier would be one of AM or Bama or LSU

Things will get scary for Notre Dame if the latter options play tight with the champion of their conference.

Army starting QB out for today vs AFA.

Still, AFA is putrid, so they might be ok.

What's up with Game Day and their sad stories all the time. Doesn't get me pumped for the games when they are trying to make you cry from a heart breaking story

Penn St vs Ohio St being at noon is lame. FOX needs to have a flex option or something
I’m good with it here in CO at 10am. I have things to do after 1p.

It’s been 87 years since Vanderbilt beat both Alabama and Auburn in the same season.

Clark Lea restarts the clock today in Auburn. Smacking that ML.
Diego beat Auburn last year at New Mexico and also beat High Freeze when he was at Liberty.

If we are 11-1 it doesn’t matter what anyone does. Do we get a home game? Maybe maybe not. The only reason to pay attention and want some team to lose is if somehow we take another loss. Hard to see a 10-2 ND team getting in with our SOS and the NIU loss. NIU used up all their mojo on us. They have outplayed every opponent statistically and generally not close but have found many ways to lose games. I doubt their coach is calling Marcus with sage advice anymore. We need them to finish with 8 wins and same with Louisville.
