How many of these players are being held out after spraining their ankle falling up some stairs?

Here's the video of the draft:

Quick recap of the rules:
  • Seniors were assigned to teams beforehand and not eligible to be drafted
  • The team drafting first had to pick a position group and then a player from that group, picks would then alternate until all players from the position group were picked. The next team drafting selected the next position group and so on.
Here's what stood out to me:
  • Angeli was selected 1st overall by the Blue team. That's notable because the blue team could have picked any position group and any player from that group and they decided to go with QBs and Angeli, so it seems that Angeli is still well ahead of Minchey in the eyes of the players.
  • Mullins and Sevillano were selected 3rd and 4th respectively at DT ahead of Houston and Vernon.
  • Urlacher was the 3rd safety selected ahead of Minich. The media has stated he's looked good in the small windows they've seen him so this somewhat confirms he's ahead of schedule.
  • KK Smith was the 2nd WR after JG and ahead of Colzie and Gilbert. He's another player that the media has said looks good but has been getting overshadowed by some of the newer guys.
  • The first 4 LBs were drafted in this order: 1) KVA, 2) Bowen, 3)Sneed, 4) Ausberry. KVA getting picked ahead of everyone else is pretty amazing but also not totally unexpected. The Ausberry pick was controversial because MF said he would have to talk to Golden about it, which sounds like they aren't sure if he can exclusively be considered a LB at this point. But then at the end of the draft, Sneed and Ausberry were traded in a 1 for 1 deal, so it looks like the coaches ironed out whatever problem Ausberry posed by being on one team over the other.
  • Raridon was the 1st TE taken, which is good but sort of unexpected because I thought they would limit his playing time if not sit him out completely. Fingers crossed he stays healthy.
  • Gray was the 1st CB taken ahead of Mickey. Not a surprise but it confirms the team sees who leads in that position battle.
  • The blue team selected Wagner as the 1st OT ahead of Jagusah. Baker was already assigned to the gold team which likely meant blue wanted to make sure they had the next best RT rather than take a LT. Still, it might have been interesting if they had decided to pick Jagusah 1st to force gold to pick the next best LT. That could mean blue didn't see the gap between Absher and Jagusah as being that big, so they were happy to get Absher by default, but maybe I'm reading too much into it.
  • Spindler was the 2nd OG taken behind Schrauth but ahead of Coogan. I think he still has a good chance to start once the season begins despite what Prister has been saying.

Hope Mickey sticks around bc he can be a great CB himself, but Gray passing over him makes me weary of a transfer. Crazy position we’re in at CB.

I don’t think anyone needs to worry about Mickey. Gray is a boundary corner like Benno, while Mickey is field.

Unless something changed after Lewis transferred, Gray is a field CB and still competing with Mickey. When Benmo went down, Lewis filled in with the 1s at boundary while Gray and Mickey continued to compete at the field spot. The II guys think Clark is the reason Lewis left so he's probably the backup to Benmo at boundary and the leading candidate to start at nickel.

IDK how much to read into Gray going over Mickey since they technically okay different positions field and boundary
They've been competing for the field position the entire spring. Neither has played boundary unless something changed after Lewis left.

I could've sworn I saw Gray in the boundary last week but I could be mistaken.... Maybe it had something to do with Morrison not playing and they were the next two best

Well, you were at the practice so maybe you're right. I don't think any of the beat writers said anything about Gray playing boundary and I think they would have because that is significant news if true.

What I do know is, after Benmo went down, Lewis filled in with the 1s at boundary while Gray and Mickey continued to rotate at field. No one mentioned either moving to boundary after Lewis left. The coaches expect BM to be healthy and starting when the season starts so I'm not sure they would want Gray or Mickey to learn another position when it's unlikely they'll be playing there during the season... but who knows?

I’m not sure I’ve heard definitively that BenMo would be back at the start of the season. Freeman said he’d be back “in the fall,” which could be October for all we know. I hope I’m just overthinking it but Freeman’s comments seemed oddly vague as to return date.

Never know, he may sit whole year
