I just coach HS football. But a coach wanting fall camp to be closed is a no brainer

It didn't have to do with fall camp but I know during the 23 recruiting cycle Loy leaked 3 different things throughout the class that the staff didn't want out there and it potentially costed us recruits. After that cycle the staff tightened what was said to the media. That is why the beat lost alot of their sources

The OL, can’t remember his name, was a big one. Loy leaked it out that ND didn’t like him as much as they liked others, which wasn’t entirely true, & the kid & his family got mad & dropped ND.
