ND should win. I have no idea by how much. NCSt looked less than impressive last weekend which leads some to think they’ll be laser focused and more fired up for ND. Then add in the fact that ND has played two of the worst teams in the nation & I wouldn’t bet $ on this game. Hopefully, as fans we will all know much more about ND after Saturday.

I'm going to say by 11-15. Tight 1st quarter with ND dominating the 2nd and 3rd and most of 4th.
A late NC St score makes it appear closer than it was.

I'm not sure why we're predicting such a tight game, there is a wide gap between ND and NCST. Irish by 3 or more touchdowns.

The only things that are concerning are the very hostile environment and Armstrong's legs.

Also interested to see what Golden and the defense does to minimize Armstrong’s legs. Stop the run and make them beat you through the air.

I’m going 45-7 ND I don’t know so many people are pessimistic about this team NC State are putrid on offense and the defense is decent but that’s not going to sustain for four quarters

They like to attack up the middle IIRC, since they are confident in the DBs. With our younger guards and unproven WRs, I could see a scenario where they have success doing so. I think Tyree and RB quick hitters out of the backfield are going to be keys to success, assuming OL can block it. I will be surprised if ND goes over 31 for the game.

I think this is correct on every level.

I think the final score will be more lopsided than the game will actually be.

I think ND will uphold their no touchdown streak to 3 games.

ND will be up 17-6 at the break. NC State will add a field goal early in the 3rd to make it 17-9. ND will score a TD late in the 3rd and stave off a few late surges from NC State and then ND will add another 14 late to finish with a 38-9 victory.
